W.I.T.C.H. "Escape from Cavigor" Talkback (SPOILERS)

20 episodes down, 5 more to go. This is your OFFICIAL Talkback for episode 21 of the W.i.t.c.h. animated series.

This time around, Elyon's Metamoorian parents get the spotlight for the first time since "Parents' Night". Of course, this leads the Guardians back to Meridian, despite Elyon's desparate plea never to come to her again. Will Elyon be reunited with her real parents? What will happen if she sees her former friends in Meridian? And, will she learn the truth about Phobos? (ED. Note: The last one sounds unlikely this episode, given the events of last week.)

Back to regular times this week. Also, this is the last new ep for a couple weeks. IIRC, we get two new episodes in July, which means we should be seeing the finale sometime in August.

They're slowing down a bit huh? I really want to see this episode, but again, I have to wait til tomorrow because my mom is off work today. I'm going to make sure that I call my sister as many times as it takes to get my point through for her not to erase it again.;) Five more to go in this season! It was fun... When will the second season start?

This might mirror the part in the comics where Phobos and Cedric arrange an 'accident' to befall Eleanor and Thomas so they can get them out of the picture so Elyon won't have anything connecting her to her past life anymore

My guess: About the same time the series proper started, which would be January. After today, we get 2 episodes next month, which could possibly put the final two eps in August. Logic therefore points to January as the earliest target date, after the traditional late summer/fall break.

I liked this episode. I thought it was well-rounded with each of the girls having her time in the spotlight for a chance to shine. Nice to see Will using a magic power even if she did have the Heart crystal help her out some.

I did end up wondering about one thing though. Just how far underground is that Infinite City anyway?? The prison itself was fairly deep underground and then the Infinite City is even farther below the prison? Yikes! :eek:

There's a six-episode marathon on ABC Family on Sat Aug 20. Sounds like a season finale to me.

And, according to the March 1 announcement of what would be in the Fall 2005 schedule, they said the second seasons of both Monkey Team and WITCH would begin in "Fall 2005."

I think they have to, since they're only adding one new show -- "Get Ed."

That was a good episode! I liked how Will used that force field to get away from the cockroaches.;) It seems like they are finally starting to give Will her powers. If they totally gave Will her powers over energy and changed the new theme song to the old one, I'd be really happy!:D

ARGH! Will actually did something usefull?! Man, its just my luck that this would have to happen in the 1 minute during the whole show that I was in the kitchen. And regarding the infinite city, Is that 'green marble' place the infinite city? If so, it looks more like a museum to me.
