I am a Hornbeam Tree (Good Taste) -- of cool beauty, cares for its looks and condition, good taste, is not egoistic, makes life as comfortable as possible, leads a reasonable and disciplined life, looks for kindness and acknowledgment in an emotional partner, dreams of unusual lovers, is seldom happy with its feelings, mistrusts most people, is never sure of its decisions, very conscientious.

That really does describes me.

Okay, so I'm a chestnut tree.

For some reason I'm not getting anything though. I select the range of my date of birth, and click the button that says "tell me which tree I am", and all I get is the same thing I saw before. Anyway I'll go by what imisshotsinCCF said:

Chestnut Tree (Honesty) -- of unusual stature, impressive, well-developed sense of justice, fun to be around, a planner, born diplomat, can be irritated easily, sensitive of others feelings, hard worker, sometimes acts superior, feels not understood at times, fiercely family oriented, very loyal in love, physically fit.

Okay, now I don't act superior to others because I know damn well that I'm not. I do feel misunderstood at times, and I do feel misunderstood often. I'm not terriblly family oriented. I'd like to think I'd be very loyal in love, and I'd try my darndest, but the only problem is that I've never been in a relationship in my life. I'm sort of fit, but I I don't exactly look like a bodybuilder.

Hazelnut Tree (Extraordinary) -- charming, sense of humor, very demanding but can also be very understanding, knows how to make a lasting impression, active fighter for social causes and politics, popular, quite moody, sexually oriented, honest, a perfectionist, has a precise sense of judgment and expects complete fairness.

That's not me.

Surprisingly, majority of it is accurate.Excluding the pride, complexities, the complicated love life, and the want to impress.

Fir tree (Mysterious) -- extraordinary taste, handles stress well, loves anything beautiful, stubborn, tends to care for those close to them, hard to trust others, yet a social butterfly, likes idleness and laziness after long demanding hours at work, rather modest, talented, unselfish, many friends, very reliable.

Well, that describes me in a nutshell. :D

The list you gave tells me Weeping Willow but when I visit the link it tells me Fig Tree. I like Weeping Willow better because it's incidentally one of my favorite trees :)

Absolutely nothing in there sounds like me. Maybe the good company, but that's about the only thing and it just barely works.

A "social butterfly" is someone who is always moving from party to party. Extravagantly flitting around slurping sweet nector from every flower. :D

Sounds like I have a lot of semi-bad traits, and also some very good ones. :)

But, I must admit, some of this stuff does fit my personality type. I'll just leave it up to conjecture which ones actually fit. :D

I may be strong, muscular, adaptable, takes what life has to give but doesn't necessarily like it, strives to be content, optimistic, wants to be financially independent, wants love and affection, hates loneliness, passionate lover which cannot be satisfied, faithful, quick-tempered at times, can be unruly and careless, loves to gain knowledge, needs to be needed.... But those are definitely not the characteristics of a Cypress tree!

According to the site, I'm a chestnut tree. Oh yeah, some of the qualities of the chestnut tree (including how I easily get irritated) definitely describe me.
