Whose doing the animated JL line and when will we hear any news about them?

I would love to know info on this line so I know when to start looking for them.

Hasbro has the rights to all things plastic where Batman/Superman are concerned, so it will be coming from them. DC Direct, whom I wish held the rights, has rights to everything non-plastic(in regards to Supes/Bats). They do get an occasional break, though, since they are supposed to put out a "The Dark Knight Strikes Again" PVC set. Notice how there are no Batman/Superman characters coming out with that new DC Direct Pocket Heroes line? In conclusion, the figs will probably be a combination of new sculpts and repainted and/or reworked molds from all the other Hasbro DC lines. I wouldn't be surprised if they used Retro Batman from the Mask of the Phantasm line.

I don't know if Hasbro has exclusive rights to Superman anymore. I mean, we did have the Superman/Lois Lane Silver Age figure set last month.

Whenever an announcement is made regarding JL toys, this is one of the first places you'll hear about it. WF, and TZ in general, has been a great place for JL, Batman, and WB news.

Trust me, when the line is revealed, there will be alot of ruckus on this site. I believe (not certain) that Joker, Inc scooped the Gordon figure, one of the most craved figures before its release.

They still have the rights to Superman, but since it's not as big a moneymaker as Batman is, they're more willing to share it with DC Direct on a case-by-case basis.

I wonder who the first villain of the line will be. Probably a Manhunter. I have never been this excited about a line since the original Transformers came out in 84.

Since the Joker and Lex molds already exist, I'm sure it will be them, only repainted or slightly reworked(Lex head on Bruce body, old style Joker on new style body).

Am I being a cynic here? :)

If we get ALL NEW molds for everything, I'll proclaim my love for JL. ;)

I'm willing to bet that we get new molds for everybody--they gave us new molds when they premiered their TNBA line.

Now, who they will be molds of is another matter...

i just hope they make them in scale & not have the flash be the same height as MM! They also better make the Manhunters a good 2 inches bigger than everyone else cause those suckers are huge! :) :)

Well, Darkseid and Clayface were bigger, so the Manhunters could certainly be as well.

I hope they don't re-use the Darkseid mold for Mongul's figure.
