Favorite anime theme?

I like the Trigun intro hard target. Though it does kind of cast Vash as this always serious gunslinger.

Magic Knight's Rayearth has some good intros as well (the 1st one and the 3rd one)

Outlaw Star and Angel Links have cool intros as well. Nice fluid animation.

Pretty much all of the AU Gundam series have cool looking intros.

Kenshin's first 2 intros really work well. Freckles (the 1st one) jumps back and forth between serious and wacky just like the show. And the second one really catches the epic feel of the Kyoto arc.

Copperia no Hitsugi - Noir

The first time I saw this it came out of nowhere and knocked my previous favorite (Cowboy Bebop's Tank) down to second place. It's just an awesome opening, one of the best I've ever seen. Do yourself a favor and DL the opening sequence, you'll be glad you did. :)

EDIT: I also find myself digging the song Salva Nos (also from Noir), or as I call it "the killing song." :D And I can’t forget Canta Per Me, and...

As much as I love Utena, her theme isn't as good as some other anime themes, so here's my list in no order:

Tank Police: I love this theme!!! I had it stuck in my head for several weeks after I saw this anime.

Dragon-Half-- this is the weirdest theme I've ever heard, it makes no sense at all.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust-- damn good soundtrack, 'nuff said.

Akira-- WOW! I used to own the soundtrack, it was a different sound, I had never heard Japanese music like this before!

A Perfect Blue- it gave me nightmares for weeks.
