So far I've only read Detective - which I really liked. Brings up some interesting questions about where exactly Gordon is right now, and it was an interetsing look into some of Batman's motives - why can't we get stories like this in the animated title???

I just finished reading Detective Comics #765.

Wow.

Ok, this book was good. I really like Sasha. I didn't think I would a year ago, but she's really become a great character.

Bats' frustration with the guy who robbed Gordon's house was great. I liked how he was determined to get this guy ASAP, no matter what else he was doing.

What I wanna know is Where is Gordon? He hasn't been in an issue for almost a year, and I want to know how he's doing, what he's doing, etc. Hopefully he'll pop up in GCPD or something soon.

I haven't read Adventures of Superman #599 or Harley Quinn #15 yet, but I'll post my thoughts once I do.

Yay comics!

Hehe. You know, there's already a post on this week's Batman/Superman comics that DG started and I've posted in....

Color me stupid....

Yeah, I looked for a talkback this week and couldn't really find it (since you pointed it out, I have found it), and I couldn't remember there being one from last week, so I figured I'd take the initiative.

One of the mods will probably merge the two. Sorry, guys. Mea culpa.

Hehe - no big deal - I just thought it was sort of funny. I figured you just missed it.

I merged the threads.

I really like how 'Tec was really, really accessible. Plus with Sasha, she provides an interesting dynamic. Unlike the other members of the Bat-team, they were children (or teens) when they joined. Sasha is an adult who has just joined. This means she's more rebellious and will likey defy Batman...which wil lead to come great predicaments.

I finished Harley Quinn, Nightwing, and Adventures of Superman, so I'm gonna put my thoughts down for those books as well. Just sos people know, there will be spoilers in this post.

First, Nightwing #64.
Oh, boy. Another Christmas story. With terrible art. But, hey, they wrapped up that unexplained Clancy subplot by still not explaining when she moved, especially since she was in Med School in Bludhaven. I was nice to see the other tenants of the building again, as it's been awhile. *sigh* I miss the early days. It seemed Dixon actually had a plan on where he was going with the book. I just hope Grayson doesn't drop all the subplots when she comes.

Next, Harley Quinn #15.
This is part 2 of a 3 part ac, tho they don't say it anywhere in the book. It was good. I'm liking this book more and more with each passing issue. While still a pointless book in the grand scheme of things, it is a nice little "see it from the villain's POV" book, and when done right, it can be really good.

Lastly, Adventures of Superman #599.
This was a good book. There were no supervillains, no real threats to anyone's life, just a nice little story. I really enjoyed the talk between Supes and the sub captain. It gave the whole DCU a feel a realism, which it needs every once in a while.

I'm looking forward to next week's Gotham Knights and Man of Steel, both of which have been really good lately.

Adventures of Superman has been really enjoyable recently. I wish Weiringo didn't decide to leave after only 6 issues into his run (6!!). The artist who did this issue, though, would make a fine replacement...

Just read Harley Quinn # 15 and I loved it!! The interaction between Jimmy and Harley is great!! THe pages where the people were writing in cracked me up! :D The Bizarro cameo was weird, but cool. Can't wait for next month!!
