I can't find any Catwoman thumbnails that'll fit the prospects of this site. Help please, I've been searching high and low, and still turned up empty-handed. Kinda like seeing all the other kids on Halloween, but everytime you get to a house their out of candy.

well....if you see a catwoman pic you LOVE..but won't fit as an avatar, let me know, and I can resize it for you. I've done it hundreds of times before. It's easy, fast, and amazingly simple!

And good luck trying to find catwoman pictures already cropped down...it's hard...

Yeah, your best bet is to just find a full sized pic that you like and then either resize it yourself or have someone like Bird_boy do it for ya.

Or if you have a decent graphics prgram on your computer other than Paint Brush, resizing it isn't that hard. Just remember 75x75 pixels. I usually size mine up to dimensions of 1x1.

Bird_Boy is basically the avatar king here, so he can pull off just about anything. Some advice, I suppose, would be to search the net for Catwoman (animated and comic) pictures, then find a good one ya like. Entertaing "Catwoman" into a search engine should pull up some good results.

May I also suggest www.milehighcomics.com? I've gotten several avatars from comic book covers I find there that you will not find on search engines like infoseek or lycos.

Bird_boy's done some awesome stuff for me, my current one and the Pack Rat from a while back. You'll be sure to get a great looking one if he does it...

Thank you guys soooo much, you've been incredibly helpful. I've been searching all over the place for months, hitting nothing but dead ends. If I find anything that I like that's too big, I'll be sure to look for you Bird-Boy. :dot:

I hate to be the spoiler here...but that avatar was used already by another user. Unless you were looking at one of the black and white ones?

As mentioned before, all you really need is a graphics program. I have Paint Shop Pro 7.0. That's how I resized mine. It's very easy to do. I think you may also be able to do it with paint as well.

Not hard to do, just open up your file in paint, and go to image attributes and type in 75 for width and 75 for height, and it should automatically resize it for you. Just be sure to save it though. All you have to do from there is go to your control panel and see your avatar options. It should be self-explanitory from there.

A little note: when you resize your image. It may become a little distorted, especially if you're doing it in paint. I remember mine did, so I basically had to fill it in with a few effects and stuff (in Paint Shop Pro) to make it look good. But most images don't do that, so you should be fine :)

I thought paint only saved files in a BMP format? Slightly to better advanced programs allow you to do jpg files and gif files, which is what you need for this site.

I only suggested paint for the resizing of the image, but you're right, you still need a program that is able to convert it to jpg or a gif file.
