Ultraman

Alright, this may not be worth it, but I wanted to throw his idea out. Who things it would be a good idea to try and negiotate out a deal where Ultraman appears in it? I think it would be potentially hilarious and interesting, to show that the world has more culturally diverse heroes. Plus it would give a great chance to have an awesome fight scene with giant monsters - old school style.

Do you mean in Justice League? Ultraman? Are you referring to the Japanese show from what,the late 70's, early 80's?

Ultraman is basically the Japanese answer to Superman.


Ultraman is a tokustasu (or special effects) Since the middle 70's there has been a new Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and sentai show (sentai is what Saban hacks into Power Rangers) roughly every year to two years.

Tokusatsu are usually based on manga and its basically this live action tradition where the myth of the superhero has evolved in Japan with its own unique but equally dramatic and intresting flavor.

While the basic idea is always the same, the story characters and designs and occasionally powers are reincarnated. All the shows have a begining, middle, and end usually with about 55 episodes telling one over arching story.

The current series running in Japan (to my knowledge) are Ultraman Cosmos, Kamen Rider Agito, and 100 Beast Sentai GaoRanger (soon to be Power Rangers Wild Force).

Now as to wether or not Tsyubara and WB could work out a deal like I dont now, but as a fan of superheros froma round the world, I'd dig it muchly.

If he teamed with an Ultraman, I'd want it to eithe be Hayata (the first) or Ultraman Tiga. :D
