Monday Night Football anaylist John Madden will take his act to NBC when their Sunday Night contests debut next fall. No word on who'll do play-by-play, but Bob Costas has the inside track.

They need him badly, besides The Apprentice and late night shows NBC sucks more than ever. All good sitcoms are gone. That's the only thing I watch besides cartoons.
Law & Order - dud,
The Contender - ,
LAX -
Even CBS is awful, since they got rid of JAG and Doctor Quinn.
I don't mind where football is though.

Actually I think Costas will host the pregame. As part of the deal, I think NBC will have a 90 minute pregame show starting at 7. Costas has done well hosting Inside the NFL on HBO, so I think they keep him behind the desk.

Good to see Madden going somewhere. NBC does need and i hope ESPN still has the theme song "are you ready for some football" on thier Monday Night football

~Nate~When NBC switched their basketball music for Justin Timberlake's, NBA on NBC went downhill.

Actually, Timberlake did ABC's NBA theme last year. Costas should be play-by-play, because he hosts Olympics in prime time.
