The tv guide for the new Woody cartoons have been rated Y7, which means that teens would more than likely watch the show rather than kids. If this is the case, what made the cartoon censores remove Woody's habit of pecking on people's heads? *sigh* You often wonder just what kind of loco weed the censores are taking. They give the wrong rating to the wrong cartoons.
Example: The Angry Beavers and Invader Zim both have the rating "Y", yet they truely diserved the rating "Y7." :bosko:

Maybe it's the network's way of corralling certain cartoons right out the airplay door, if there's no marketing value in them anymore  ..... The sequence goes like this:

1. They take a character that adults will be familiar with-

2. Plop it on in the middle of young kids' viewing slots....

3. label it Y7 so parents will say, "Oh, I don't want little snookie watching that, it's for teens, it's probably full of violence and rude jokes that young'uns won't understand"... so kids don't watch it.

4. Teens that DO watch it will think it's too childish for their tastes, and then won't watch it.

5. Adults won't watch it because it's not what they're used to in the character (plus, it probably just plain sucks)

6. Ratings suffer because NOBODY sees it, and networks associate the series with popularity failure

7. PRESTO!! no more cartoons of that character, classic or otherwise!

It's... it's... SAB-O-TAH-GEY, that's what it is!!!
