KIDS' WB! SENDS OUT CASTING CALL FOR ULTRA-COOL ROBOT TO STAR IN EPISODE OF HIT 3D-CGI ANIMATED SERIES "CUBIX"
One Grand Prize Winner Will Supply Voice Of Their Winning Robot Design In The "CUBIX BUILD A BOT CONTEST" Through December 29
BURBANK, CA (December 10, 2001) -- See what it's like to be a part of Bubble Town and the Botties when you build your very own Cubix robot! Kids' WB! sends out a casting call to find a new robot character for the second season of the hit 3D-CGI animated television series Cubix. The "CUBIX Build A Bot Contest" invites kids to be a "Bottie," just like Connor, and create and name their very own amazing robot during the three-week promotion in December.
The "CUBIX Build A Bot Contest" will offer one grand prize winner the chanceto design an ultra-cool robot and have it come to life in an episode of Cubix next season. The winner also will have the experience of attending a voice-over recording session as they will be the voice of their robot for the special episode. Additional prizes include a Nintendo Gameboy® Color loaded with 3DO's thrilling new video game "Cubix Race 'N Robots," along with hundreds of Trendmasters Cubix action figures and trading cards.
Through Saturday, December 29, kids will have the chance to watch Cubix on Saturday mornings (8:30 a.m. ET) and learn how to enter the "CUBIX Build A Bot Contest." Promotion spots during the Monday-Friday line-up (3:00-5:00 p.m.) will encourage viewers to check out the series on Saturdays to learn how they can win. Viewers may enter by mailing in their robot design, which must be postmarked by December 31, to "CUBIX Build A Bot Contest," P.O. Box 10418, Van Nuys, CA, 91410.
