Does anyone here know of any good anime video games? For example, gundam games and etc. Thank you for your opinions. Does anyone know if the Full Metal Alchemist game was any good? I am looking for anime PS2 games.

I have "DBZ Budokai 3" and "Shaman King: Power of Spirit." 'Budokai' is by far the best DBZ game released in America, and is fun to play even if you're not a fan of DBZ and/or of fighting games. The SK game, unfortunately, will probably only interest diehard fans of the show, and that's a stretch. (I also have "Yu-Gi-Oh: Duelists of the Roses," but once again, only interesting if you're a fan.)
I have not played the FMA game... I was going to buy it, but I heard it wasn't all that good. Though I did hear the game designers listened to the fans, and the upcoming sequel should be much better.
Anime videos games tend to suck, except some of the fighting ones, but those arn't very good either.

Three Words
"Super Robot Wars"
If you can find the translated versions, great, but it's still great fun otherwise.

Zoids Legacy and Battle Legends are pretty good, but they're the only anime video games I like.

My sister and I were kinda ticked off when we rented the FMA game and it had no multi-player. Seriously, a 2-player option in a FMA should be a no-brainer.
Every game based on an anime that I've played has sucked. I hear the PS1 Slayers RPGs are good; but those are only available in Japan. :(

Some of these are for older systems for those that are interested:
There's a Magic Knight Rayearth RPG, supposed to be pretty cool, for the Sega Saturn. Since Saturns are so cheap these days it might be worth picking both up for a fan.
There are three Ranma 1/2 fighting games for SNES/Super Famicom. One was even released in the US. The others can be found and emulated. There's also a Super Famicom RPG with a fan translation. There's an Area 88 game that was retitled U.N. Squadron for U.S. release, and a Speed Racer game. SNES got a crappy Ultraman game.
A Speed Racer game is also available for the Genesis.
There are three great Sega CD games that are basically animes. Timegal, Revenge of the Ninja and Road Avenger. There's also a Space Adventure Cobra game that plays a lot like Snatcher. And I know it's not anime, but there's an awesome Kamen Rider Zo game for this system.
Sword of Berserk: Guts Rage is available for the Dreamcast and is awesome. There's also a Record of Lodos War game.
NES has a Fist of the North Star Game and two Golgo 13 games. There's even a Dragon Ball game, although it was changed and retitled Dragon Power. There's a Godzilla game for this system.
There are two Zillion games for the Sega Master System.
US 3DO plays Japanese games, so there's an awesome Yu Yu Hashuko fighting game to import, with footage from the show that tells the story, and a Sailor Moon game. You may also import an Ultraman game.
There's at least one, maybe two Gundam 2D fighting games for PSX that were released in the US. You can play that on your PS2 if you can find it. There's also a US released Inuyasha fighting game and a Ghost in the Shell action game. Gon is a character in Tekken 3. And a Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game.
And there are two Robotech games for the Playstation 2. Robotech: Invasion is a mostly standard FPS. I had fun with it, but it doesn't really feel like an anime. Robotech: Battleground allegedly captures the feeling better. There are two Gungrave games for PS2 that share similar designs to Trigun. There's also a mediocre Ghost in The Shell game for this system. And there's a Lupin III stealth game that I thought was fun but kind of frustrating. PS2 and I think other systems have Kinikuman games, although they might be called M.U.S.C.L.E. in the US. Don't forget the .Hack RPGs. Do forget the Sorcerous Stabber Orphen RPG, just called Orphen in the US, unless you are a completist.
Gamecube and Gameboy Advance have Astroboy games. The Gameboy Advance one is allegedly very good.
I also saw an Initial D arcade racer the last time I went to the arcade. Last but not least, but certainly hardest to find, there was a laserdisc arcade game called Cliff Hanger. It used footage from a Lupin movie, I think it was Castle of Cagliostro.
This is just stuff released in the U.S. If you don't mind emulation that are dozens more for just about every system, for every anime you can think of. I've even played a Nadia:Secret of Blue Water strategy game.
If you have time to look through a long list of tons of anime games, most only released in Japan, check out this faq:
