A proablem when it comes to my avatar

i got a picture from msn lower than 75x75 pixel and its a picture what the proablem

Obviously it's a different file type than allowed. You'll need to save it to your computer, open it in a photo editing program and resave it as a JPEG or something of the like.

tell me what i did wrong i copied a picture of will smith on msn picture search (lower than 75x75 pixels) put it on paint xed out all the white stuff saved it to my folder and when i tried to upload it it came with that message.

Note that MSN avatars are 96x96 so that may be the problem.

Resave as a JPG Interchange Format. BMP files are too big in almost every situation.

Also when you save the file look underneath where you write the file name, and you'll see "bitmap something or other" switch it to gif or jpg.
