I wonder why Cartoon Network show the same show for four hours during the summertime, like Billy and Mandy. DO you guys rather have different show every half hour or the same show for four hours. I rather have different shows, because of variety, adn I kind of get bored with watching the same thing.

Try....less TV, more other activities?

I would say it's because they want people to get out more, but that's wrong. It's just a cheap way of making people think they're watching something special.

I actually think it's a good idea. It gives viewers a chance to catch up on shows where they've missed a lot of episodes. They just need to pick better shows. Like, they need to have a four hour block of Ninja Turtles.

I was bedridden (sort of) the past few days and couldn't get out and move around somewhere because Cartoon Network was annoying me with its monotony (of course). So, I watched. I admit, the marathons are sort of boring (Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring is NOT a good rendition of the brand), but if you're interested in seeing the show, you'll be less bored (Foster's captured my attention; "Mac Daddy" I had never seen before).

But, seriously, get outside. Go shopping, play in your backyard, do something. If your life is so sad and boring that you have to resort to watching Cartoon Network the whole day to fill that void (unless you're sick in bed like I was), then I pity you. I know we all have legs and arms and know how to use them. If you can draw, draw. If you like writing, write. But sitting all day is inexcusable in most cases.

Don't be like the KND gang or like Batman on the "Get Animated" ad. :p

They need to have four hour blocks of Baby Looney Toons or something really cheesy like a 70's cartoon (except for Scooby Doo) and that will get all the kids out the house for a while.

they want the kids in the house, watching T.V and giving them ratings. But you can't say that they expect to get ratings showing marathons. Marathons are probably the worst technique to get ratings. Seeing the same show repeatedly is about as boring as watching paint dry. Unless your marathon is of new episodes and just new episodes, which even could bore, marathons are just a bad tactic.

No not TMNT, i can't stand the show, how bout courage!!!!Even if you can't stand the show, you don't have to say it. I mean, I'm impartial to TMNT, but I don't state it much. People could say the same thing about Courage. Personally, I'd prefer marathons of both over what we're getting. Monotony every week. There's Cartoon Network for you. Your favorite channel is also one of the worst schedule-wise.

Oh man it'd be great to have four hour marathons of TMNT. It has a 78 episodes to air so it wouldn't get stale too soon.

I don't really like comedy cartoons. Well, I like the Adult Swim comedies and South Park and the Simpsons, so I guess what I mean is that I don't like comedies made for kids. The humor in them is usually something that I would have found funny as a kid but doesn't do anything for me as an adult.

Actually, outside of Toonami I really don't watch too many kids cartoons at all. I watched Ninja Turtles on Miguzi before they started skipping around the episodes and confusing the hell out of me and I watched Code:Lyoko in hope that the series would eventually rise above mediocrity, but other than that I ain't real big on kid's shows. I tend to avoid Kid's WB and FoxBox and Nickelodeon as much as possible.

The reason I would suggest Ninja Turtles for a four hour block is because it actually has a continuous story and there a lot of episodes and it recieves few airings, so chances are a 4 hour block wouldn't seem as stale as some other shows.

You know, it seems that from looking at the ad on the Cartoon Network website that they will only be airing 6 shows for these marathons. Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Codename:Kid's Next Door, Foster's, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, Billy and Mandy, and Teen Titans. That's freakin' retarded.

I think we should an hour of each show instead of a 4 hour long marathon. I don't know about you guys but that is just what I'm thinking. then on fridays, pick a 2 random shows and do 2 hour marathons with each one.

I just don't understand why the only action show they're airing is Teen Titans. Why not Ninja Turtles, Justice League, Static Shock, Zatch Bell, Code:Lyoko, Yu Yu Hakusho, freakin' something else besides Cartoon Cartoons or whatever those Friday shows are called now. Variety is the spice of life. Airing those same 6 shows every day is overkill.

Really? Why wasn't it listed on their site? Then I guess maybe the 6 shows listed on their site aren't the only possibilities for these marathons. Maybe we'll get a Ninja Turtles marathon yet...
