Best Of Both Worlds- Combine two games!

Say one game has great graphics, plot, and presentation... but horrid gameplay. Say another game has great gameplay, but no money could be spent on other parts of production.

If you could combine two games, what would they be and what would the end product be? Me?

Grand Theft Auto 4: Burnout America

Burnout has a ridiculously incredible racing/crash engine, along with great graphics. Combine that with Grand Theft Auto's free-roaming gameplay, plot, and world, and you'd have the best game for the PS3.

Going along with the Burnout theme, I'd combine it and Gran Turismo together. The only thing keeping GT back from being perfect is actual crash damage. That and online, but I could care less about that for now.

Katamari Damacy + Devil May Cry 3 = Katamari May Cry/ Devil Damacy. Dante has to defeat the minions of hell, and his only weapon is a katamari. Or, maybe the Prince of the Cosmos has traded in his katamari for twin guns and a giant sword, and the body count he accumulates whilst trudging through the demon realm results in bigger, albeit bloodier, stars.

Mine would be a mixture of Advent Rising, Halo, God of War, Suikoden, Half Life, Devil May Cry, OZ (coming soon from Konami), Jak, Sudeki and Kingdom Hearts.

I say combine the game play of Smash TV with the graphica of Contra. Then, you'd have one bloody, wild blast em up. Improved graphics on those girls from Smash TV with the big hooters would be fun too :D and the eye ball from smash TV would be sick.

This may be obvious, but I say combine Metroid Prime and Halo. Have the great single player of Metroid, which Halo lacked, and have the greatness of Halo multiplayer, something Metroid wasn't great at, then take it online. You have the perfect FPS/adventure.

Most Gundam games are poor compared to other video games. So why not combine the game play of Mechwarrior and combine it with the gundam universe. That way, there would be a Gundam game with good graphics, good story, and good game play.

Or combine Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia. Lara and the Prince meet up at time warps. First they battle each other, then they have to team up to battle an ancient evil.

Seriously, I'm gonna try to think of something productive here. Oooo! Brilliant idea:

Jedi Knight Series+ Knights of the Old Republic Series=

Jedi Knight: Sith Reborn. The Sith Lords were thought to have been
destroyed (Return of the Jedi). However, things are not all they seem. A
clone of one of the most powerful and badass Sith Lords of all time is being
trained by the Imperial remnant to kill the remaining Rebellion that now calls
itself the New Republic, and to slaughter the defenders of the Jedi Order.

Kyle Katarn, sent on a mission to uncover recent Imperial activities on Jarun
VI, discovers old tubes of failed cloning attempts. Then he is confronted by a mysterious Sith in a dark cloak. He battles him to a standstill, and the Sith takes off. The plot thickens from there, as the New Republic not only has to face the new threat of the Sith, but a traitor in their mist as well...

Why this is a combination of the two games: First of all, this is Jedi Knight with the Knights of the Old Republic engine. That would be cool in so many ways. Second, Revan appears. :evil:

I'd actually like some feedback on this idea, 'cause I put about 15 minutes of thought into it.

oh uh right sorry, spaced out for a second there hehe...anyway I think I'd mix devle may cry3 with the new legends of zelda coming out on GC, the probolems I see with zelda are it's lack of complex combat, graphic violence (a must have for all good games), gore (aka: a little blood her and there, thats all I ask), and good weapons with added abilities. Replace any of these and you would have one bad a** game.

Heh, I would love to see the Metorid series crossover with the castlevania games. I mean the newest catlevania 2d games use the metroid formula so it wouldn't that hard to believe. Knights of the Old Republic + Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind = Awesome


I want KOTOR lightsaber coolness and gameplay with every planet you visit to have the freedom, depth, and size of Elder Scrolls III. It would tie in great with your light/dark meter (shopkeeper gives you a bad price? Steal from him!) And if you got to visit 6 or 7 planets like in the other games......that's a game that would keep you busy for 2 years.
