best friends...

Who do you think each JL member's best friend is, and why? This was spurred by the "Wonder Woman flying" topic, when I wondered who Bats' best friend was. Does MM have any close friends?

In JL they haven't really developed friendships yet. So I think it's a little early to say. But I think that J'onn and Batman are friends, and GL and Flash are probably closer to each other after Flash defended GL at the trial. Plus, GL and Flash will be working together in the upcoming ep. Brave and the Bold. As for the others, I think that WW will get along well with both Supes and Hawkgirl.

Of course, outside of the team, Bats also has other friends who we know about, like Nightwing, Robin and Alfred. If we're talking about anybody at all, I'd say Nightwing is his best friend, despite their differences.

Batman's best friend is Jim Gordon. There is absolutely no question about it. Bruce has a huge amount of admiration for Jim, and is one of the few people he looks up to.

Superman has a best friend-- his pal Jimmy Olson!
As for the Flash in the comics Barry and Hal were inseperable, and Kyle and Wally are becoming friends in the Brave and the Bold tradition

all in all im sure everyone has their circle of friends in their civilian lives.

Batman....friends? Those words don't mix! ;) Actually I think J'Onn would probably be the closest to friends with Batman, he does respect him and knows he gets the job done when it needs to be. But yea, Jim Gordon is definitely his best friend. Alfred is probably more of a father/mentor as seen in Mask of the Phantasm.

Superman....uh..he's a big extrovert so I guess everyone there is a friend to him I dunno what would be his BEST friend though, maybe Batman? Since he knows him the longest but I don't think Batman thinks the same way about Supes.

GL and Flash as they've had a lot of interaction and such...

WW and Hawkgirl.....err.I guess. Since they are the only ones left, they are paired up by default hehe.

Among the League itself, Batman and Superman are freinds inso much as they can be. They have that strong bond of respect, and the freindship is there though Batman being Batman will be damned if he'll admit it.

Superman and J'Onn J'Onnz obviously have a freindship that has grown out of their simalar origns and tragedys.

The Flash likes everybody, especially the girls. ;)

Green Lantern seems to respect Superman, but nobody else. However after the trial I think he's greatful that they were all willing to believe in him. Something he wont soon forget.

Wonder Woman is at once fascinated and bewildered by everyone around her.

Hawkgirl is kind of the same way only doesn't let it bother her, and she likes the Flash. Even though he's an obnoxious flirt, I think she actually liked it. In Blackest Night she damn near blushed under her mask in part 1. :p

Batman....is Batman. However, beneath it all I think he sees the both the pracitical and inspirational potential in this idea. He just hopes they dont screw it up.
