I dunno, i guess it was just a inspirational moment, but I thought up this really short poem and decided to post it. Sounds almost like a magic spell.

Air Walkers

All the lovers of the sky,
Of the mountains upside high,
Give the giver one to walk
Up on wings like the graceful hawk
Find the boots that ease on wind
To leap on closer to her kin.

I've been reading old nursery rhymes lately and I think this would definitely fall into that kind of category. It's mysterious but light, imaginative but simple...it's just amazing how much it reminds me of a nursery rhyme. This is certainly a keeper, Welshie's Mate** Great work!

Oh, I use these groovy little things >*< (probably too much and incorrectly) when I want to wink. It's a way of agreeing with the person above me, I guess** -Ahh, see? Those guys find there way into my posts quite often.

But...I wonder if anyone else is reminded of a nursery rhyme when reading this It still hits me that way.

I tend to avoid nursery rhymes like the plague, so...not in my case.

Oh, and if you want to wink in a post, use ";)". But I get what you mean either way.;)

Hm, a nursery rhyme. I never thought about it that way. I'm not really one into nursery rhymes either  so I wouldn't know, unless it's about Jack and Jill or gigantic shoes, but it's definitely been a while. thank you both for your opinions, however!

But...I wonder if anyone else is reminded of a nursery rhyme when reading this It still hits me that way. It wasn't until after reading that YOU saw it as a nursey rhyme that I reread it, and I can see it.

Maybe it's the cadence, but I'm now reminded of my old nursery rhyme albums (gasp! so old!! I still have my old vinyls, too. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/guinaevere/smilies/blush.gif ), and some of the lymmerics and riddles like, "Forty white horses upon a red hill..."
