It's funny how one word makes a difference. Why is it such a big deal if they use "Society"? Is it just easier than going through the legal process?

Is it supposed to be different from the JSA?

The JGA is the same basic idea that JSA is, but they couldn't get persmission from DC to use that name or something, or they did'nt want to go through the hassle. AS far as the team members go, they are going to be new characters or something.
