I thought this would be an appropriate place to post this. Sorry if it isn't.

A few people have been PMing me (and I'm assuming others) with ads for their message boards, websites, etc. Most of them have 0 posts and just seem to be spamming this way, and I've gotten multiple messages from the same people. Is there an administrator or moderator I could forward the PM to so that they can get these people to stop?

I don't think there is a specific moderator to deal with PM problems. If you do receive any problems via PM (spam, harassment, etc.) forward the message to any of Toon Zone's moderators, and they'll take care of things.

Feel free to forward them along to any of the mod team and we'll look into it as soon as we get the reports :)

PM any mod on the active list with any spam PMs that are sent to your account. Their accounts will be banned asap.

Just to emphasize an important point... when you are reporting these, you MUST forward along a copy of the PM... we can't ban if we don't see the justifiable reason to... (as spamming is such)

This is the fifth time it's happened to me, FIFTH!

When Brian and I get back into town, I'll make sure this is on the top of our list. Believe me when I say I'm really quite annoyed by the wastes of space signing up only to spam your PM inboxes and we will do something about it.

In the interim, please keep forwarding these spam PMs to an active mod and they'll make sure the person is banned.

Please forward the offending PM to an active mod (but not to Brian and I, we're travelling right now and won't be able to get to it immediately).

We've already got an idea of what we're going to do to address this. We should have it done Monday or Tuesday. Our apologies for any inconvenience until then.
