Me, personally, I'll never pass up Sharp Cheddar or Provolone... and have recently developed a nice liking for Colby Jack... mmmm... =)

Pepperjack! Mmm... Monterrey Jack with a kick. The bigger the kick, the better. ;-)
Also quite fond of fresh mozzarella... *not* American mozzeralla, either... Genuine Italian mozzarella, two days fresh, kept chilled in ice water, or bust! Absolutely incredible stuff, if I do say so.

Swiss!!!!!!!!!
Cheddar, CoJack, and mozzerella are runner ups.
I LOVE CHEESE ON EVERYTHING! I always add it to the appropriate dishes, especially hamburger helper dishes! Layer some shredded cheese on top...SO GOOD!
I also love hot pepper cheese, but don't buy it nearly enough.

Ewwww swiss!?!? :o
I guess my favorite is regular ole' American, although I have high hopes for that pepper cheese. Sounds right up my alley, even though I'm not a big fan of cheese. Except saying the word. Cheese. Cheeeeezzzz. It's one of those funny, little words.

My thoughts exargdly. Swiss is only good on hot beef sandwiches.
Sharp cheddar is good. I eat cheddar the most, because it's so versitile. You can put it in a sandwith, on a burger, on Mexican food, macaroni, melt it on vegetables.
My favorite might be Brie.' Those French know their stuff. Great on fresh, crusty bread or a cracker.
Mozzarella's good too. Lower in fat than most other cheese.
What dos colby taste like? I've been meaning to try that. A lot like regular Jack? I haven't had provolone in a long time. I forget what that tastes like too.

My favorite? Mozzarella. Only kind I've ever tried, anyway, other than American string cheese. (Yuck! Ptooie!)

Real cheese, too, not that tasteless oil-and-water imitation muck. Shredded mozerella is good on a pizza, and shredded cheddar in tacos, but tends to go stringy and rubbery if melted in a pan with butter and eggs.

Sigh. I have to admit to having a real weakness for brie.
Fresh parmesan or romano, also. Though you can't eat them directly, really, they're awesome additions to any kind of pasta.

Mozzerella, cheddar, and provolone.
I once won a huge tray of cheese for the Super Bowl in this contest at the school's cafeteria. It had four kinds of cheese (cheddar, mozzerella, swiss and smoked-something-else) and it was so huge we couldn't eat all of it!!! I had to actually throw some of it out! :o
It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. *sniff* I miss it.

*sigh* You know what I miss? The days when people actually DIDN'T give cheese out as awards or prizes. Go fig. {shrugs}

I have been known to nibble on a chunk of parmesan. It keeps very well and is good to have toward the end of a camping trip.
My favorite on bread or a cracker is Bleu, with Smoked Gouda and Camembert a close second. Brie ain't to shabby either.

A tie: Emmentaler Swiss, brie, mild cheddar, and gouda (a.k.a. "beer cheese").
P.S.O/T: Cheers to the American Dairy Association for making Mighty Mouse its toon pick in the recent "The Power of Cheese" ad campaign.
P.P.S.: Colby sux.

Cheese! Glorious, curdled manna!
Cheddar is my all-time favorite... whip it on a burger, or melt some on pasta. A close runner-up is feta... I love me some gyros with liberal feta!

Ohhh, cheese!! I love cheddar, swiss, brie, bleu, gouda, parmesan, munster, and feta. I'm definitely not a picky cheese person. :D
Has anyone here been brave enough to try limburger? I don't think I could ever get past the smell.

Actually, I remember being at a party somewhere, going to the buffet table, and noticing that there was a platter of cheese with a note: "It's a practical joke--We aren't that mean!"
Luck had it that I should have a cold that day and didn't smell the putrid stench of the limburger. I didn't get the joke and ate the cheese. I was told the next day. Then I threw up, for some reason or other. {shrugs}

I can just see Brak saying that... all you need to do is add a "the end" to that, and you're set!

What cheese I like usually depends on what I eat, but I like American and sharp chedder the best. It's good to eat by itself or with other stuff. Other cheeses I like that I don't eat alone are: mozzerella, parmesan, ricotta, brie, monterey jack, and feta. The one cheese I've tried by itself and with other stuff that I don't like is Swiss. It's just not my cup of tea.
