If the producers decided that Aquaman was so popular that they were going to include him as the 8th member of the JL, would you be for that? After "The Enemy Below", I'd have to say yes. Although that would only make it harder to showcase all the characters. But yeah, Aquaman is the man, and I'm sure we will see more of him..............and his brother.

Screw that, recruit Aquababy!

Yes I would.......buuuuuuuuuuut
Would the "surface dwellers" trust Atlantis? Let alone their King. That would make a good story!

8 would be too many in my opinion. Aquaman works better as a guest character.

The Flash is right. After recent events...I don't think he'd be trusted...

The old fears of having him stand around being useless still haunt, especially with 7 other great characters already competing for the limelight. Tonight's episode proved above and beyond that Aquaman belongs amongst the greatest heroes of all time. But for now just knowing he's down there might be enough.
I'm glad they introduced him early into the series, otherwise I would have always wondered where is Aquaman? But now even though he's not fighting by their side, every time they pass over the ocean, we will know.

I do agree that 8 is too much, even though Aquaman is cool.

He seems to be a loner from what I have read in the comics, and that might conflict too much with Batman. You can't have too many loners on a team.

Naw, 8 is too many for the JL. I think he's just fine were he is right now. I don't think they're will be an 8th member of JL, and I think it should stay that way.

Perhaps what they could do next season, as a finally perhaps, would be to have the JL themselves captured/mindcontrolled/something, except possibly Batman, who has to organize some of earths other heroes to attempt to both save the day AND the JL. Aquaman would, of course, be one of them.

Now that is a cool idea, but I have a feeling they won't do it.
If they did, they could bring back plastic man, because he is suposed to come in this season. And as a twist, Batman could recrute a vilian that they could use to help, who has some vested interest in defeating the one who has captured the rest of the JL.

Regardless of whether the JL would trust him, it would violate the entire spirit of TEB to have him join. The episode is about Aquaman's relation to his kingdom and family, and the sacrifices he makes on their behalf. After all the suffering he undergoes in TEB it would be appalling for him to chuck it all for a backseat in the Javelin-7.

I can see him showing up if ever the JL has business underwater, and can see him helping out as an ally. But his relations with the JL would be like those the President of the US would have to the JL--strictly those between the JL and a head of state.

My only problem with him joining is. Do they really need another hero who is super strong and almost invulnerable? I would rather have another hero whose powers are completely different than the others. For example:
-The Atom
-Firestorm
-Green Arrow
-Zatanna

ps-Except for him riding the killer whale. You never saw him use his fish telepathy.

I'd have to say no... he's got too many responsibilities in Atlantis. But, I'm sure we'll see him again...

at this point for guest heroes id have to say id LOVE to see Zatanna -- magic is cool

maybe Dr Fate could pay a visit as well!

as for Aquaman-- after his brother took over and his army turned against him, i doubt the King of the Seas is going to be leaving any time soon-- he has a lot of enemies to uncover and dispose of

Aquaman fans fear not.

Toonzone reported that Timm is considering doing another Aquaman episode during the second season. So he won't be a regular member, but we will likely see him again.

That's called a spoiler box. To put one in, type "
" at the end of the test you want in the box, and "
" at the beginning.

If you're wondering why the "test" post you made above led to a bizarre looking spoiler box, it's because of the relative positions of the spoiler commands in the quote box, and the spoiler command in your test. It put everything between one of my boxes and one of yours into the spoiler box.
