This is really a minor thing, but is there any chance of TZ hosting giveaways/competitions that are open to members outside of the US and Canada? I've noticed that whenever one comes up (such as the recent Madagascar one), this rule always seems to be there. Whilst I can understand why it's likely there (I assume finanical reasons), it would be nice to see some that are open to those of us in other parts of the world. Sites such as AnimeOnDVD.com have begun doing similar.

We'd like to, but its a bit too much on the $ front for us to do at this time.

I can understand that. Like I said, it was just a minor wondering. Thanks for the response.

Surely it doesn't cost that much to send the prize to other parts of the world?

I've got no reason to lie. Also, the companies supplying the giveaway items sometimes dictate where their product can and cannot go.

Furthest I've sent something was Norway, which was a few pound, but OK.

True, but these are region 1 DVDs and the guys who provide them probably wish for them to stay in that market. Some folks in region 2 also don't have multi-region players. Imagine if you won a disc, yet couldn't play it?

You'd feel gyped, right?

Norway is not across the Atlantic Ocean from you.

Yes I'm aware of that. I've purchased items online which are shipped from the US and they may charge more, but not an extortionate amount.

Hellcat, thanks again for your question. Since you've said that we answered your question, I'm just going to say this thread has served it's purpose and close it.

Once again, for any who were still wondering, we're not shipping overseas and we're not going to be shipping overseas in the forseeable future. Much thanks for the suggestions and y'all have yourselves a nice day.

I have to go finish drawing a cartoon sausage mascot for a portuguese restaurant in Portugal now.
