I was wondering since we have a Worst 10 cartoons ever! I figured to create which ones are your favorite or the best according to you.


My 10 best cartoons ever have to be:

8 Tenchi Muyo (not "Universe" or "In Tokyo")

Another great spoof!

6 Dexter's Laboratory (some ep's are lame but most are at least creative and inspired.)

5 Fleischer Bro's "Superman" 1939-1943
("Look, up in the sky!" They look as exspensive as they were. Digg that full orchestra sound track.)

4 Batman:TNBA
(All my fav Batman ep's are from TNBA.)

3 Batman:TAS
(Set a new standard in the 90's. Of corse you all know that.)

2 Gargoyles
(A very full show. I love the fantasy, transending time and space stuff. And the tie-ins w/ mythology and Shakespear are coll too.)

1 The Simpsons
(So the last few seasons have been lousy. The shows been on for over a decade! It's a modern classic. I love the old ep's.)

Lady Oscar is a JAPANESE anime, better known as Rose of Versailles. Excellently dubbed into french, aired in Quebec and France. And it's an excellent show indeed.

*slaps forehead* OF COURSE! How could I forget Daria?? I probably forgot it when I made the list because it is so rare that I get to see this show on MTV anymore (they hardly ever give it any good time slot) that it was just a temporary case of out of sight, out of mind. But, yes, this would deseve a spot on my top ten list! Just don't ask me which one to delete! I could do a Spinal Tap and have my top ten list go up to 11!

Not that I know of. I'm pretty sure Freakazoid was canceled before there was a WB. You may well be right. But, that would mean they changed it for the WB after the shows initial airing. I'm sure it was originally QVC. Have a nice day!:)

10. King Of The Hill - I don't watch it often, but when I do, I see and intelligent and severely under rated cartoon.

9. Transformers - Nostalgia. Cool soundtrack and lots of nasty fighting. Excellent movie. Last bit of acting in Orson Wells career. Makes you think does it not?

8. Spiderman (90's) - Excellent cartoon. Cool ending. Lots of fun when the do a Spiderman weekend and you get to see a whole load on the trot! Just pipped 'The Amazing Friends' to the slot.

7. Powerpuff Girls - Out with X-Men in with this fantastic Manga inspired cartoon - this is excellent! Especially the Bubbles playing Mojo Jojo episode!!

6. He Man And The Master's Of The Universe - SUPERB soundtrack. Reasonably thought out characters and the best enemy this side of the Joker.

5. Batman TAS - All I need to say is Mask Of The Phantasm. Nuff said.

4. The Simpsons - VERY funny. Suffers from being every dad's favourite programme. It has been made the role model for the fat thick dad who drinks too much beer. Now all the fat thick dad's who drink too much beer take pride in their malformed characters. Doesn't make them more likeable and Homer even less (which is a pity).

3. Batman Beyond - It is VERY lucky that it got such a high position since Max appeared, but it has Will Friedle (who I think is very cool) and includes the beyond fantastic ROTJ movie. Cool intro credits.

2. Battle Of The Planets/Gatchaman. It has fantastic music that goes beyond animation (thank you Bob Sakuma and Hoyt Curtin) excellent voice artists (BotP - Casey Kassem) and the coolest ship in any cartoon - the Phoenix!

1. Futurama - The most well thought, intelligent and witty programme to spin off another well thought, intelligent and witty programme - and it's better. Less characters means less plots based around irritating characters (Simpsons suffers from an overdose of Bart, Lisa and the Marge's sister storylines - Futurama hasn't made this mistake - yet).
Futurama has wonderful injokes, tight scripts and excellent animation. More please.

Bubbling under the 10..... Incredible Hulk (80's version), Godzilla (another excellent Hoyt Curtin score for this 70's classic) and animaniacs .......

Quite how you like Edd Edd and Eddie is beyond me though. IMO, it's the most annoying cartoon to be issued from the bowels of hell in a long time!! ;)
