I'm just curious. I don't know any of the crew's plans for the next seasons, but the crew will have to think of a new storyline for JLU since the Cadmus plot ends this season and what subplot would TT Season 5 have, could this be a Starfire-centric plot or go back to giving one of the other Titans another sub-plot, since the crew feels that Star doesn't necessarily need a subplot.

Anyway thoughts?

Boards come after the voice sessions. They can't do a storyboard without having the vocal track first.

The approximate order for an episode's production goes something like this: there's a story meeting where the staff discuss and nail down most of the plot points; an outline is written outline; script is written (with several rewrites); recorded session; vocal track is handed out to directors/board artists; 3-4 weeks later, the boards are finished; the boards are sent to the overseas animation studios; 5-6 months later, the episode comes back; about a month of post-production (retakes, sound effects, music, etc.); the episode is taken to the telecine operator and then delivered to CN.Thanks for the walk thru GMahler, I'm always interested in how shows get produced.

Thanks for the info. Though I don't want any details on what Season 3 (JLU) and Season 5 (TT) will be about until I see the rest of the current seasons.

I think TT season 5 is supposed to be more focused on Titans East instead of a Starfire-centric season  I like TE and all, but I was really intrested in seeing what kind of plot they would do for Star, maybe Blackfire for her enemy, but don't see Blackfire as being able to hold down the role of the big-bad of the season. Unless the writers do a bit of tweaking with her character. Hope my season 5 theory is wrong though.

TT season 5 is well under way. They are all written, and are finishing production of the second half of eps. It's NOT Starfire-centric. Look for more Titans East, more characters, a DCU team that will be animated for the first time... and more!

no word on season 6 --

Is it the Omega Men? 'Cause that would be really cool.

Scripts for JL Season 5 (JLU Season 3) are almost all done, so at least the first few episodes have been boarded and sent overseas. TT Season 5 has been in production for awhile, and I'm pretty sure a good chunk of the boards are done.
just wondering how do u know all this??

I think I remember reading on your site that Kid Flash is going to appear. Are they pulling from the Wolfman/Perez stuff and going for more of a Wally West type, or are they doing something more along the lines of Impluse (maybe because Wally's already being done on TV)?

He was hilarious in Young Justice. Is he going to be on Titans East? I really like Speedy and Aqualad, but Mas y Menos and Bumblebee don't exactly cut it for me...
