"Vbulletin, Jelsoft, owns the softwear", do they get something out of Toonzone, for letting Toonzone use it, do they get any rights, or some sort of payment? or info? I realize that this is kinda personal, but I trust this forum, have and believe in the honesty, quality, and fairness,of Toonzone. Did you buy the softwear and now own it? or is it still kinda leased, or something like that? Thanks for any answer on this..Stu.

vBulletin is a piece of software which you pay for. After which you have the rights to use it. It may be easier if you took a look for yourself: http://www.vbulletin.com/

I understand that if you use VBulletin, you have to have certain information on your board (like the copyright info).

You have to leave the bit at the bottom. It's how they make money. They get new customers that way. I personally prefer free ones. There are some which are just as good, if not better.
