Sadly, its that time of year, that we remember the late, great, Owen Hart who died very tragically 6 years ago.
I remember hearing about this on the news and being very shocked about it. And seeing the emotion-filled RAW dedicated to Owen's memory.
I wish he was still alive today. He would have been a major factor in wrestling.

Already 6 years.
Owen was a true wrestler not like many are.
It was on Over the Edge, I don't remember the PPV name.
I always laugh on the Nation parody by DX when the guy who played Owen said "Enough is Enough and it's time to change."
Gosh, a really good guy even if he played as a heel through his career. I don't remember him as a face maybe when he was the blue bird (I don't remember the name).
R.I.P. Owen Hart.

You know it makes me wonder what Owen Hart would be doing if he was still alive. Would he still be in the WWE would he of been the Heavyweight Champion? Who knows Owen Hart was a very good wrestler.
Also he was a face going up against DX that was until he turned to the Nation.

Wow, I remember that day.
I was really into wrestling back then, and that very day I had bought a Blue Blazer action figure, which is apparnetly pretty rare these days. Then I saw on the news that Owen Hart had died, and I was absolutely shocked. I think I actually cried at the end of Raw the next day.
Owen always seemed like he was a great guy, and he was one of my favorites back in the day. RIP.

Damn, can't believe it's been that long.
I was watching that very PPV the night it happened. I'm still simply amazed how the guys on the card we able to finish the show, considering what just happened to one of there own. Then when JR finally anounced that Owen was dead........................... I just couldn't shake my mind off of it for the rest of the night and most of that Monday. I do remember that day being fairly miserable. I'm not entirely sure it had anything to do with Owen, but I did feel bad about it. It felt absolutely wrong that he was gone (and this is comming from someone who was absolutely pissed when he beat Bret and Wrestlemania X).
And the RAW that came on that evening, some of those clips were hard to watch. I remember Jeff Jarret being all choked up and HHH struggling to get those words out of his mouth. A very sad, yet touching show.

Also he was a face going up against DX that was until he turned to the Nation. Well, if I remember correctly (AND if this is true), they were talking about changing Owen's character, eventually calling himself "The Game". So if Owen were still alive, I wonder how different Triple H's character and career path would be at this point. Honestly though, I think he would have eventually been a champion.
It's been that long though? I remember when the 11 O'Clock news here in Philadelphia reported it. I forget where I was that night, but I remember wanting to see the PPV, then coming home to hear that Owen died was unbelievable. I think Owen's death shocked me just as much as Brian Pillman's death, which to me, came out of nowhere. Also, as Mr. Pedro said, that Raw was VERY emotional. Even though I was pretty young, I did appreciate what Stone Cold did at the end of that show. Sure it wasn't an emotional speech, and it stuck with his character by having him come out with a beer, but it was a great way to say Rest In Peace to who was probably gonna be a World Champion one day.
Owen truly was one of the best.:)

I'll admit I didn't watch WWF back then, so much was I wrapped up in WCW. But didn't he die trying to be like Sting and come down the rafters on a rope? From what I heard he was a great wrestler and I wish I could have seen him in action.

Yeah, he try to do one of sting tricks. Even sting didn`t do that trick anymore after that. owne detah is one fo teh reaosn why his older brother will never come back to the WWE. Vince show no respect to his death by keeping the PPV going.

I used to be heavy into wrestling as well and I remember that.
I even saw a bio of him (or what it the whole Hart family? Anyway..) and his wife said that he wanted to be a fireman instead of a wrestler.
I woke up two years later in 2001 and realised that wrestling just didn't do it anymore for me.
