Ren and Stimpy
I just remember being a fan
Simpsons
Loved this show to death when I was younger and it was in it's early seasons
Family Guy
Saw it on Fox before it became mega-popular on Adult Swim. I thought it was okay, but it's terribly overrated now.
Space Ghost: C2C
I remember staying up late to catch this on a few times
Beavis and Butthead
I didn't get into this until after MTV yanked it, but it was a decent series.
Dexter's Lab
Jimmy Neutron has better characters and story
Powerpuff Girls
Another favorite when it premiered, lost interest after the movie though.
Futurama
King of the hill
Never been a real big fan of this
Pokemon
One of the few Japanese cartoons I can still stand to watch. I remember the first time I played Red version
Dragon Ball Z
My friend was into this more than me, never too big of a fan, honestly.
Inu-yasha
I hate this to death.
Cowboy Bebop
It was okay the first run, but the 30th time AS played it, I got tired of it.

Ren and Stimpy
"I'm so glad I've finally gotten the chance to see this; I'm a cable-deprived kid." My first episode was Space Madness.
Simpsons
"So this is what everybody at school's been talking about. This is funny--the motor home just went off a cliff! Now Homer and Bart have to wear bushes!"
Family Guy
"It'll probably go off the air soon, I might as well check it out, though I have low expectations for it......AAAAAAAAHHH, NO, THIS ISN'T FAIR!! HOW CAN THIS BE!! THIS IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST CARTOONS I'VE EVER SEEN AND NOW IT'S TOO LATE!!" Needless to say the resurrection brought a tear to my eye....
Space Ghost: C2C, Beavis and Butthead: Haven't seen either
Dexter's Lab
The first Dexter cartoon I saw was "Maternal Combat" and I marveled at how the video game was getting referenced and how current that was....of course, then that same episode ran well into the 2000's and many many kids never understood what was really going on.
Powerpuff Girls
"It's a Cartoon Network show; so far they haven't done any wrong. Hey, this isn't bad. Kinda cutesy, but it has its adult charms."
Futurama
The first episode of this I tuned into was the Titanic spoof episode and there's not much you can say about that. This took a few viewings to get into.
King of the Hill
This took even more viewings to get into than Futurama. I didn't start watching until 2000 and I was put off by how slow it was. The series had to get into syndication for me to see the whole thing and become a fan.
Pokemon
The first time I ever saw this was the Friday of its premiere in syndication, and the first episode to feature Brock. There was a "Pokemon Power" insert in Nintendo Power that made a comic novelization out of the show well before it started airing, so I already knew what it was and I'd already bought the game. I remember laughing at the cheap animation. I didn't turn it back on until the whole ugly incident with Sabrina was first aired, and after I saw THAT I had to watch the whole syndication package. Shame how far the show slid after season one.
Dragon Ball Z
This is the kind of thing someone could only get into if they saw it every day (and a good argument for keeping weekdays on Kids WB). It's extremely episodic and every episode represents about five seconds of real time. Needless to say, I've only seen two shows and confused was I during both of them.
Inu-yasha
The solitary episode I have seen was the early one where Kagome had the pink pearl or whatever it is, and at the end of the episode shattered it into pieces. Based on that episode, I thought the show was good. At least it was better than Yu Yu Hakusho, which I had to see before it.
Cowboy Bebop
"Boogie Woogie Feng Shui" was the first one I saw and boy did that look weird to me. But based on all the praise it was getting, I asked someone to start taping it for me and sending the tapes by mail. Bebop rules....now.
ACTUAL FACT: Believe it or not, I hated the first episode of Gilmore Girls I ever saw. If anything, that's a lesson to not judge any show based on one viewing.

Ren and Stimpy - Never watched it.
Simpsons - I actually kinda liked it at first, but decided I didn't soon after.
Family Guy - I remembering thinking, "This is the funniest damn cartoon ever." Don't remember which episode, but it was soon after it premiered on Adult Swim. Glad it's back.
Space Ghost: C2C - Never watched it.
Beavis and Butthead - "This is interesting." Eventually got into it, though, and would watch it whenever I skipped junior high for the day.
Dexter's Lab - Kiddie stuff. Eh.
Powerpuff Girls - "This is kinda cute." Never really got into it, though.
Futurama - "From the same guy who made THE SIMPSONS? No thanks."
King of the Hill - I loved the show at first, but lost interest around the third season. I still like it, but don't watch it regularly anymore, though I'll leave it on a rerun if I happen to come across one and nothing else is on.
Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Inu-yasha, & Cowboy Bebop - Anime? Bleh!

First impressions, eh?
Ren & Stimpy- Saw the first episode in 1991, and I loved it. My favorite of the three premiere NickToons, and an inspiration for many of my grade school cartoon ideas.
Simpsons- Not surprisingly, I didn't get many of the jokes back when it first aired, but the first episode I saw was probably the camping episode. I really don't remember what my first impression was; it was too long ago.
Family Guy- Even from the commercials I knew this was going to be something special. And I loved the first episode.
Space Ghost Coast to Coast- Loved the bizarre humor and the innovative idea. Was an instant fan. I believe the first episode I saw in 1996 was the Christmas special, though I could be wrong.
Beavis & Butthead- I had heard things about it from my friends and so I had to see what the fuss was about. Of course, it's not unknown to controversy so I had to watch it when my parents weren't around. It's one of those shows that I liked as a kid just because of the fact that it was controversial and nothing else.
Dexter's Lab- Didn't think much of it, to be honest. The simplistic art style put me off, and I didn't really like Dexter as a character. It wasn't until years later that I got a lot of the humor that only adults would appreciate, and realized that the simple designs had a retro charm to them.
Powerpuff Girls- Same as Dexter.
Futurama- By Groening, huh? Think I'll check it out. Then I enjoyed the show, and saw atleast half of the Season 1 episodes in their original airing.
King of the Hill- Roughly the same as Futurama. I remember seeing commercials for it during football season and the main thing that got me to watch was "from the creator of Beavis & Butthead". And imagine my surprise when it turned out to be quite different than the former. Again, with many of the above shows, I didn't REALLY become a fan until a couple years later when I understood the jokes. But I do remember liking the smoking episode on first airing.
Pokemon- I thought it was brainless drivel designed to sell cards to kids.
Dragon Ball Z- Hated it. I've seen a few episodes when it was new and I still today feel it's on my top 5 worst anime list.
Inu-Yasha- My first impression was from the series of "Sit! Sit! Sit!" commercials on Adult Swim, and I was fairly indifferent towards it. Much later, I watched my first episode and was a casual fan for a while, until my complete incomprehension of what was going on (due to coming in after multiple plot points and missing certain episodes, which is fatal for a serial show) caused me to stop watching.
Cowboy Bebop- The commercials on Adult Swim in 2001 piqued my interest, because it didn't look like the typical anime, and I was right.

>>What was your first reaction to the following toons when you first saw them, and which ep did it happen to be:
>>Ren and Stimpy
1991, namely the debut night of Nickelodeon's "NickToons" lineup. First episode was "Stimpy wins $47 million dollars". Thought it was rather weird, but hilarious.
>>
Simpsons
The "Tracey Ullman Show" shorts in the late 80's. Our family (including my mother) thought "those weird little cartoon shorts where the characters were swearing" (the most shocking thing at the time---since cartoon characters on TV *didn't* swear until the Simpsons came along...) were hilarious.
(Yes, so I'm "old." So sue me. ;-) )
>>
Family Guy
Hmm... probably the debut season of the show. Thought the baby and dog were funny, but everything else felt annoying and stupid (and wondered what was up with the tons of ethnic/gay jokes). After watching some more episodes, this opinion didn't (and still hasn't) change.
>>
Space Ghost: C2C
Probably around the early 2000s when I went to see family (who had cable/Cartoon Network). Funny stuff.
>>
Beavis and Butthead
A season or so after it debuted probably---my sister kept talking about it, so I tuned in to watch. Heh.
>>Dexter's Lab
The first season when it was on TBS. "Maternal Combat" and "DeeDee travels back in time one hour"---still funny.
>>Powerpuff Girls
On a rented video in 2000---the "Bubblevicious" tape. Thought it was amusing.
>>
Futurama
Possibly the debut night on Fox (or a season later, after moving into Indianapolis from the town I lived in, which had poor TV reception being too far away from other cities). Amusing show, but I was still a "60 Minutes" viewer (or forgot to keep tuning in).
>>
King of the hill
The first season I guess. THought was OK, but reminded me too much of living in Indiana, so I stopped watching it. :-)
>>Heck, lets throw in some anime too:
>>Pokemon
Probably when it reached the WB. Another repetitive, crass 30-minute commercial aimed at kids (with the same flippin' plot over and over---though without me actually *liking* any of the characters, unlike "Scooby Doo"). Plus thought Team Rocket were just knockoffs of Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale (of "Rocky and Bullwinkle" fame).
>>Dragon Ball Z
Seen three seconds of it while flipping past Cartoon Network----weird-looking characters yelling at each other with the usual 3-frames-per-second level of anime TV animation. *Quickly changed channel*
>>Inu-yasha
Not seen it.
>>
Cowboy Bebop
Ditto.

Ren and Stimpy- How are they getting away with this stuff on Nick?!
Simpsons- Not sure, it's sorta always been there.
Family Guy- Funny crap. Could possibly overtake Springfield some day.
Space Ghost:C2C- I felt so cool watching this since it was on so late (back in 94-95).
Beavis and Butthead-Huh-huh, this is cool. Huh-huh.
Dexter's Lab- Liked the very first one. Been downhill ever since.
Powerpuff Girls- Meat gun. Man I gotta get me one.
Futurama- Not as funny as Homer and crew.
King of the hill- Hmm. Hank sounds familiar.
Pokemon- I liked the games better.
Dragon Ball Z- That planet was gonna blow up in five minutes. It's still there SIX EPISODES LATER.
Inu-yasha- Has that guy ever considered a pedicure? He looks like he could use one, along with that haircut.
Cowboy Bebop- Like touching the face of God. A gun-totin', chain-smoking, Jeet-Kun-Do, ass-kicking God.

Family Guy
Gross and Stupid, pales in comparison with Anime
And I need to ask the question why do you compare it with anime even though it's so radically different from it?
Anyway...
Ren and Stimpy - Thought it looked interesting what with it's grotesque animation and sight gags, and then found myself to liked it.
Simpsons - Watched a few old tapes back in the day with episodes from the first season. It won me over.
Family Guy - Had my skepticism over this mainly because animated shows aside from Simpsons and King of the Hill were mostly canned on Fox. Then I saw it and everything changed.
Space Ghost: C2C - Weird. Couldn't even understand it mainly because I wasn't into the verbal repartee between the host and guest. But then I got used to it around the time Mark Hamill appeared and then I appreciated it.
Beavis and Butthead - Thought it was gross and juvenile and refused to watch it. I watched it then thought the same thing, except it was funny. Didn't get into it until I watched Beavis & Butthead do America.
Dexter's Lab - I thought "Hey, they're parodying old anime like Voltron or something with their episodes and themes" and I thought cool.
Powerpuff Girls - Heavily violent cartoon covered in a sugar-coated design. I thought it was interesting to say the least and continued to watch it just to see where it goes with it.
Futurama - From the same guy who did Simpsons. I'm in! And it did not disappoint.
King of the hill - The first few episodes it took me a while to get used to the show, but then I began to appreciate it and it's rather interesting style of humor.
Heck, lets throw in some anime too:
Pokemon - Hey, interesting show. Game to Animation adaptations are rarely done well, and even though I dislike the show now Pokemon does a good job with that regard. I grew to dislike it when Tracey appeared, but I did like it. I still think the first opening is one of the best American Anime openings of all time (right after Ulpio Minnuci's Robotech Theme).
Dragon Ball Z - A fighting anime with large explosions and stuff with interesting out-of-this-world characters. I wonder how this will turn out with such content in it.
Inu-yasha - An adventure in feudal Japan that looks good and has interesting characters. Then I lost all interest in watching the rest of it and now am confused as to where they are now. Defeating Naraku is now boring and rather long-winding.
Cowboy Bebop - After the first episode I thought this was going to be good. REALLY GOOD.

Ren and Stimpy
Of these three Nicktoons that premiered (Doug and Rugrats were the others), this 'Mighty Mouse/Christmas in Tattertown.'-type cartoon is my favorite.
Simpsons
The Working Girl VHS has a preview of this show. Funny story. Can't wait until Fox comes to my home! I've gotta see this!
Family Guy
Feh, another Simpsons-type cartoon.
Space Ghost: C2C
I've gotta see this!
Beavis and Butthead
Liquid Television is good today.
Dexter's Lab
Good Cartoon, Cartoon segment.
Powerpuff Girls
Great Cartoon, Cartoon segment!!!
Futurama
Amusing Greenfield cartoon, definitely better than anything the Simpsons has done after Season 5.
King of the hill
Feh, another Simpsons-type show.
Pokemon
Avoid this show. Avoid this show. It is nothing like the 'grown-up' anime that Sci-Fi channel shows like Project A-ko, Demon City Shizuku, and Tenchi Muyo in Love. But then, I like Sailor Moon, and this is like Sailor Moon! How can I like that but hate this? No! Forget it! Avoid! Avoid!
Dragon Ball Z
(Summer 1999) Avoid this show. Avoid this show. It is nothing like the 'grown-up' anime I watch on Sci-Fi Channel. (A year later, summer 2000) Great, I have to watch these cartoons on Toonami in hopes to spot that new promo for the upcoming Tenchi Muyo. Let's see, Johnny Quest...Reboot...Gundam Wing...this show. Huh? Did that little kid refer to the hero as 'daddy?' I thought the hero was some older brother, according to the pictures I've seen. So there's a father-and-son relationship in this show? I must see more!
Inu-yasha
This is the anime my sister had heard from a friend. "I got to change muy world!" Inu-Yasha sounds like Ocean Krillin! Kagome's mother sounds like Ocean Chichi! Kagome's brother sounds like Ocean Gohan! Pretty good, gotta watch this every Sat night!
Cowboy Bebop
Well, I missed most of the episodes due to the late hour. Finally saw this. So Roger Smith has a voice in this. Check out the guy with breasts. That indian chant at the end. Weird. Maybe I'll watch more.

Ren and Stimpy - Finally, I've gotten to see it, uh, the charcter designs are disgusting
Simpsons - Eh? Why the heck are they yellow
Family Guy - Woah, Quite rude for a cartoon
Dexter's Lab - cool, an underground lab
Powerpuff Girls - uh, too girly
Futurama - Hey, it looks like the simpsons!
King of the hill - Jeause how boring
Pokemon - OMG, the cards are alive!
Dragon Ball Z - Woah, pretty action-packed, If only I could understand what was going on.
The other I haven't seen.

"They look weird... I don't like them!"

Family Guy
"This is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life!"
Space Ghost: C2C
Never seen it
Beavis and Butthead
"This is crap. All they do is laugh!"
Dexter's Lab
"I can't understand a word he's saying!"
Powerpuff Girls
"I like the green monkey!"
Futurama
"Oh my God. This is genius!"
King of the hill
"Meh... I prefer Futurama."
Pokemon
"Hey! It's the yellow rat from that video game I got for Christmas!"
Dragon Ball Z
Haven't seen it.
Inu-yasha
Haven't seen it.
Cowboy Bebop

What was your first reaction to the following toons when you first saw them, and which ep did it happen to be:
Ren and Stimpy... I went over to my friend's house (I only saw him like every other month) and he fried up some Spam (a running joke between us). We watched Ren's Toothache and Rubber Nipple Salemen while eating Spam sandwiches and my stomach hurt so much because the show was so vile. Still, I loved it even though I got kind of naseaus when the flies were eating turds and telling Ren to close his mouth because the smell eminating from his tooth holes were making them sick. Needless to say, we laughed our asses off.
Simpsons: I loved the Tracy Ullman Show and was thrilled The Simpsons were getting their own show. The first episode I saw was Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire and I thought it was brilliant. A month was a long wait between the Christmas special and the debut of the series although the wait for the second season was much worse. Can you believe there was once a time when there was a shortage of Simpsons episodes?
Family Guy... Saw it on tape with my father at his house. It was the pilot episode that aired after the Superbowl. I wasn't really that impressed.
Space Ghost: C2C... I thought it was bizarre in a good way. The guests I saw were Mujibir and Sarajul from The David Letterman show. I thought it was neat.
Beavis and Butthead... I didn't like it the first time I saw it and I thought it was too nasty and gross although as the animation got more sophisticated as the series went on I really started to like it.
Dexter's Lab...Don't remember when I saw this for the first time
Powerpuff Girls... See Dexter's Laboratory
Futurama...I thought this was great. I saw it at my parents house the night it debuted and thought the pilot was fantastic.
King of the hill... I was in a bad place in my life when I first saw this so even though I thought it was funny and I liked it, my first memory of it isn't that positive.
Heck, lets throw in some anime too:
Pokemon... I felt like the parents of South Park in Chinpokemon: I didn't understand what the hell was going on.
Dragon Ball Z... Couldn't sit through a full episode.
Inu-yasha...Never seen it.
Cowboy Bebop...Never seen it.

Ren and Stimpy: Gross yet interesting
Simpsons: I was five when this show first aired and I remember that I loved watching it and thought it was cool even though yellow was odd at the time, but for some reason after the second season my mom would not let me watch it any more and I was greatly disappointed.
Family Guy: Thought it was funny but lost interest after a few episodes
Space Ghost: Never saw it
Beavis and Butthead: Thought it looked gross so Inever bothered to watch it
Dexters Lab: I thought it was so funny and I quoted him for a few years before he finally died down
Powerpuff Girls: Eh No
Futurama: I thought if its by Matt Groening it has to be good and I was right, I still love this show.
King of the Hill: Saw a few shows but found them a little boring
Pokemon: These are my exact words. "This replaced Pinky and the Brain?! What the hell? 0_o
DBZ: My step brother would not stop talking about it so I finally sat down to watch an episode with him, thought it was okay, not that great though.
Inu-yasha: haven't watched it yet
Cowboy Bebop: Haven't watched it yet.

In response to some shows:
Space Ghost: Saw the episode that followed "The Mask" on the VHS version of the movie. Found it funny (and made me wished that my cable company had Cartoon Network).
PPG: First one I saw was the "Meat Fuzzy Lumpkins" episode. Seeing the commercials for it, I thought it wouldn't impress me. However, it ended up being my favorite of the first batch of World Premiere Toons (especially thanks to the bit where Butters beats the crap out of Fuzzy because he turned one of her pigtails into a chicken drumstick).
Inu-Yasha: Saw episode 1 at my anime club and wanted things to hurry up. Personally, things didn't really picked up until after the supporting heroes finally begin to appear.

Ren and Stimpy I cannot remember the first episode I saw. However, I was 14, semi jaded, and loved watching the Headbanger's Ball. So, I was amused at with Ren always yelling "You Idddiiiioott!" animated gay couples are always entertaining. Being a fan of the show, I was pyched for the brief return in 2003. I saw "Ren Seeks Help" and shunned the show, because I hated it so much. Rather tragic, to me, and my history with Spumco.
Simpsons I've been watching The Simpsons since day 1. Yes. I saw the first episode WAY back, in season one, when it was a brand new episode. I've been watching ever since. To this day it's one of my favorite shows.
Family Guy I saw the premier of this show as well. I was mainly drawn to Stewie and his cynical humor, but after a few weeks, I just stopped watching. It wasn't until some friends in a chat room were quoting the show that I realized how brillant it was. By then, it was already off the air and in syndication on Cartoon Network. When they annouced it's return to Fox, I threw my fist in the air in celebration.
Space Ghost: C2C This show does no wrong. The band Man, or Astro Man? does the intro. Space Ghost's complete apathy for his guests is always completly brillantly played out. Zorack's ranting can yield some of the funniest moments. It puts writing, and voice acting into the forefront over the animation, and I love it.
Beavis and Butthead Man, aI sure do see a lot of shows from day 1. I saw THIS show as a Liquid Televison short (along wtih Aeon Flux). I remember quite clearly how the intro starts. Bevis begins laughing, his names appears. Followed by a dramatic pause. Butt-Head begins laughing, HIS name appears. Followed by me laughing. Histerically. I was instantly obssesed. The fact that the full series was peppered with hard rock and metal video clips was the cherry on top to me. I now hate mainstream music because of the underground bands I learned about thanks to Bevis and Butt-Head.
Dexter's Lab If I remember correctly, I intitally got some "Mindy and Buttons" flashbacks while watching Dexter and Dee-Dee's interactions. I HATE "Mindy and Buttons" But, I knew there was something more here, so I stuck with it. It's certaintly not my favorite show, but it definitly has some brillant moments, it IS a Craig McCrackin show, after all.
Powerpuff Girls I started watching this because my friend really likes this show. It's a McCrackin show, so brillance abounds. My favorite is of course, Buttercup. The humor, the villans, the writing. All great stuff. Powerpuff Girls opened the door for other shows like "Totally Spies", "Hi Hi Puffy Amy Yummi", "Foster Homer for Imaginary Friends" and "The Oblongs", so it's a Pioneer in it's own right.
Futurama VERY similar story with Family Guy. Saw the Priemer, didn't stick with it. Was later reminded of how brillant it is, due to my internet friends. Caught the Cartoon Network reruns, and fell in love. There's a scene in a Simpsons episode where a geek yells "WHY DID THEY CANCEL FUTURAMA?!" and throws himself off a bridge. I fell out of my chair laughing because I totally agreed with him.
King of the Hill I saw the premier of this strictly because Mike Judge is the creator of Bevis and Butt-Head, and also of King Of The Hill. I stuck with it for about two months, before I decided I hate the show. Hank is a close-minded redneck. There is no edgy humor. No clever dialouge. Nothing to hold my intrest. It's The Cosby Show of animation. I hate The Cosby Show. I don't blame Mike for going in a diffrent direction, but I don't dig this show. Daria, on the other hand I completly loved, no, it's not a Mike Judge show, but it IS Bevis and Butt-Head related. Know your roots.
Pokemon Before the show came to America, there was ALL KINDS of press about the shows popularity in Japan. What EVERY American journalist wrote was basically "You need to be a kid to enjoy the show and remember all the Pokemon names." I watched the show for a week to see what they were talking about. I was 21 at the time and after I week of watching I knew the whole show. Not only did I ENJOY the show, I knew the key pokemon names. I still watch Pokemon every Saturday. It's become VERY formulatic, and repeative, but it's still fun to watch.
Dragon Ball Z I knew about DBZ because of the internet. I saw the first episode, thinking I was in the middle of a saga because of the way the first episode begins. Raditz simply lands his pod and kills a farmer and begins looking for Goku. I have a deep love for anime, so I loved watching this show. No matter how many way-too-obssesed fans were out there, thinking they were, in fact, super sayians. Oh, excuse me, Sayjains.
Inu-yasha Another show I have seen since day 1. Heck, I even explained to my friends as we watched that Iny-Yasha was a half-demon. I LOVED the twisted story line, and the tragic heros. As the show's popularity grew, I began to hate the fans, who often never gave props to Big O, despite Inu-Yasha being in re-runs at the time Big O was brand new. Otakus can sometimes be close minded people.
Cowboy Bebop My first exposure to this anime was Session #24
"Hard Luck Woman". A year into the show's run on Cartoon Network. I didn't have cable back then. Knowing nothing of the show, seeing Faye kiss Ed, who I knew right away to be female just sparked my intrest. Without a doubt one of the most brillant animes every created. But once again, I hate the over-obssesed fans. How many times do they want to see the only season it will EVER have? Three viewings of every single episode was enough for me.
For the record, that's SIX shows in your list, I saw the premier of. I'm in. DEEP.

Space Ghost C2C: "He looks like a villian from Superman, but I'll watch it becuase I like live-action/animation stuff."
Bevis & Butthead: "It's crazy, it's weird, I WANT IT!"
Dexter's Lab: "Cartoon Network sure know how to keep audiences happy."

Pokemon: "WHOA! I really need to see this, awesome."
DragonBall Z: "Wow, I need to watch it. Looks great."
InuYasha: "Looks cool, but sadly I may never watch it at all..."
Cowboy Bebop: "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... looks good. But I'll never watch it."

Ren and Stimpy- I was really grossed out, and I just couldn't watch it at all. However, later on, I loved the "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy," song.
Simpsons- I thought this was the funniest show I had ever seen. If only that could be true today...
Family Guy- The first episode was really funny, but then it got a little too weird.
Space Ghost: C2C- I thought it was funny.
Beavis and Butthead- Absolutely disgusted. I was nine at the time, and I couldn't understand what was so funny about it. I only knew that it was gross.
Dexter's Lab- The first episode I saw was when Dexter was bitten by that clown--THAT was funny, but then it got boring...
Powerpuff Girls- Though it features heroines, I couldn't get into it. The girls looked too weird for me, and I never found it funny.
Futurama- Really funny. I loved Bender from the very beginning.
King of the hill- The first few episodes were entertaining. I don't watch it anymore, because all it is now is Bobby this and Bobby that...
Pokemon- I thought it was cute, but the only Pokemon I cared for were Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, and Meowth.
Dragon Ball Z- "Hey! It has the Chrono Trigger art!" Toriyama's artwork drew me to the show. It turned out to be amazing until the end of the series.
Inu-yasha- I thought it was okay. Then I disliked it, then I loved it, then the third season came, then the movie, and now I just want to stick with the first two seasons!:crying:
Cowboy Bebop- I saw it in Animerica magazine first. I thought it looked stupid, but in 2001, when it debuted on adult swim, I was blown away, and I still loved the show.

Ren and Stimpy- I saw the ads for Nicktoons and thought they all looked cool except for Ren and Stimpy, which looked really stupid in the commercials. Then when I saw the Nicktoons I was surprised to discover that Ren and Stimpy was the funniest one.
Simpsons- I saw the very first Christmas episode and I didn't even realize that it was a new show. I was rather young at the time, and I loved cartoons, so I liked it.
Family Guy- Freakin hilarious.
Space Ghost: C2C- I saw Cartoon Planet before I saw this. It was interesting to see the show that spun off Cartoon Planet, but I liked Brak better than Moltar.
Beavis and Butthead- I heard about this show from a friend and one day my brother was watching an episode where they were both in the bathroom stalls. I didn't know what to make of the show, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get enough of it.
Dexter's Lab- I think I was growing out of Nicktoons when I first saw this, I thought it was okay, but I was kind of getting old to keep up on all these cartoons.
Powerpuff Girls- I saw a preview in TV Guide and I immediately thought it was a rip off of Sailor Moon and I was pissed. then I went online and I was informed that it was a rip off of Wedding Peach, not Sailor Moon. I still don't know exactly what Wedding Peach is.
Futurama- I saw a preview of this in TV Guide and thought "Cool, it looks like the Simpsons, only they're tan instead of yellow." I don't remember what I thought of the first episode, but I realized that it wasn't nearly as good as the Simpsons after a few episodes.
King of the hill- I saw a commercial and my brother told me that it looked too much like Beavis and Butthead informing me that the main character is just like Tom Landry in Beavis and Butthead. I saw the first episode and didn't think it was very funny.
Pokemon- I loved anime so I watched this but I noticed that whenever electricity attacks were used they dimmed and slowed down the footage. 4 Kids still owes me a seizure!
Dragon Ball Z- I watched the first season of Dragonball on Sunday mornings before I saw this. I didn't really like Dragonball, but someone told me it doesn't get good till Z so I was really excited when I saw a commercial for Dragonball Z. I thought Piccollo was a grown up emperor Pilaf when I first saw him.
Inu-yasha-I liked it. But, I was shocked to discover that Inu-yasha was a guy.
Cowboy Bebop- I saw an episode subbed on my brother's PC but I refused to watch any more episodes because the episodes on his PC cut off the opening, ending, and preview. I later watched it on Adult Swim and I loved seeing the opening, ending, and preview uncut.
One Piece: "What the hell... pirates? Man, this show sucks."
See how that changed. But first impressions sometimes do evolve into your opinion...
Rocket Power: "What the hell... how are they so good at skateboarding? And Jesus Otto is a prick."
