Survivor 2: Welcome to the game!

It's a battle of wits! It's a battle of skill! It's a battle to survive!

21 players from all walks of life are gathering here, on the frigid shores of Severnaya Zemlya for a Survivor like no other.

For the first time ever, Survivor tackles a polar location. Contestants will have to not only do their best to make it through the challenges, but the struggle to make it through the night will make the Survivors wish for warmer locales.

Located between the Kara and Laptev seas, Krasnoyarsk Territory, N Siberian Russia, off the Taymyr Peninsula, Severnaya Zemlya is part of the larger whole of the famous Russian territory known as Siberia. It's a land of permanent glaciers, it's a land of magnificent wildlife... it's the new home to these 21 players.

For the next few months these players will have to form bonds to make it through the challenges and they'll have to not only depend on their senses, but depend on each other... they covet immunity. Without it, there days on the glacier could be over...

The GTE Internetworking Facility I worked at in Burlington, MA was a superfund site. On VanDeGraff Drive. Yeah, it's where he did his work on the generators and many other things.

So if I start glowing, I'll know who to sue.
