During the opening of Futurama tonight, there's a television screen in the city, and on the screen is a Bosko cartoon.

Perhaps it's a sign of things to come...

I think a clip of Bosko appeared on the big screen in a first season episode of Futurama. Sorry, I can't remember which one.

Every week they show an old Black and White cartoon on that TV that the planet Express ship crashes into.
The only time they've changed it is when the simpsons appeared on it!!!

Bosko did indeed appear in the first season of "Futurama" , the clip they showed was from "Sinkin In The Bathtub".

Actually, there weren't all black and white cartoons, they did show clips of "Fresh Hare," "A Corny Concerto," "Baby Bottleneck," among other color cartoons. The Simpsons clip is from the early Simpsons Tracy Ullman short, "Making Faces."

Have you checked the Invader Zim episodes "Parent Teacher Night" and "Invasion of the Idiot Dog Brain"? On the tv screens in the backround you can see clips from various public domain cartoons.
