Super-girl Question??

I know there was about 4 versions of Super-girl. Pre-crisis, Changeling, Angel?, and the new one. I know that PC died but what happened to the other two? How did they begin and how did they end?:confused:

I tell ya, pre-Geoff Johns Hawkman is still the poster-boy for When Continuity Goes Wrong, but it's a real tossup between the X-Men and Supergirl for who lands second place for continuity confusion.
