idea for the next batman DTV

The next DTV should be based on the near apocalypse of 2009, 8 years after the Tim Drake kidnappings, it would feature an aged bruce wayne gray hair is begining to kick in and he has started wearing the Batman Beyond suit to enhance his strength, of course Ras is the badguy, it should feature the JL although, this takes place after Batman has quit JL because of age issues, their would be a Night Wing team up, he also wears a suped up suit, of course since it hasn't necissarily been decided if JL will stay in continuity with Batman Beyond, some things could be altered, but the basis is older bruce VS. a youthful Ras

An aged Bruce Wayne VS a youthful Ra's. I like that. That would definatly be an awesome idea for a DTV. I would also like to see more of Bruce in the BB costume. That teaser at the beginning of Rebirth showed us that there is some awesome possibilities with that suit. I think we should leave the JL out of this, but include Batgirl and Nightwing. The JL will probably get a DTV or something sometime in the future, so any Batman DTVS should be about Batman and his Gotham Knights. I would like to see Superman in a Kingdom Come-esque costume, though,

Forget a DTV where Bruce already has the Beyond suit. I want to see why he made it, the full story behind why he chose to put up the old classic costume in favor for the enhanced costume. It must have been one hell of a fight that made him realize he couldn't continue on with the old suit anymore.

I agree. Bruce isn't the kinda guy who's gonna slowly realize he might need a new suit. Something major would happen to him, someone would just beat the living crap outta him, he'd crawl (put the Batmobile on autopilot) back to the cave, get patched up, and make a new suit. I wanna see that.

Nightwing's departure (pre-ROTJ flashback), leading into what he's up to.

Batgirl's departure (probably a little while after the ROTJ flashback, and what exactly went on between her and Bruce).

Bruce cruising Gotham and running into his old enemies.

Tim Drake's rehabilitation from the ROTJ flashback events.

What happened to Alfred (dead of old age?) and Jim Gordon (shot down? Retired and then dead of old age?).

Can anyone think of anything else?

Personaly, since I have never seen ROTJ or a lot of the animated series episodes, which I am not happy about. Nonetheless, I would love to see Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl all together. I am sure this poses a lot of story problems, but thats just my opinion. And wouldn't it be weird if Terry McGuiness showed up? He's in a Superman comic around now I've heard, but it would be cool if he was around when Bruce was Batman. That's all

I beleive the suit was made becuase of his age and also becuase if you rember in the real version of ROTJ in the flashback scene Joker stabbed him in the leg.

I think it would have taken more than a knife tossed at him to make such a radical of a change. Heck, this man has been shot at hundreds of times. He knew his own mortality was at risk every time he went out, and if bullets didn't provoke him to create a new suit, then I don't think a knife would too.

The same goes with his age. I don't think Bruce woke up one day and said, "Heck, I am old, I need a new suit!" I think there was a battle we have yet to see that made him realize he was old and needed the suit. A battle that made him realize he had weaknesses that he could no longer over come. He's still in his prime when he confronts the Joker in ROTJ.
