I'm wondering if I should consider picking up the series when it starts being released. It seems to have somewhat decent production values. However I know nothing about the story and it seems it could devulge into a WTF borefest...

shounen-ai undertones for a minus
cool robots for a plus
Character designs by Hisashi Hirai for a minus
cool fights for a plus

It's an alright show, though I only saw to episode 7. I may buy it when it's released.

I've seen the whole thing, and I'm still unsure about it. It starts off very bland, gets a lot more interesting around episode 7, the plot grows more complex, then it leans back toward bland near the end, then picks back up. It's often hard to convince yourself that you're not watching an Eva clone with a pallet swapped cast of Gundam SEED, but it sets itself apart now and then. Did I like it? I'm really not sure. It had its moments...

I'm curious how the dub turns out, because I somehow doubt the official subs will be any easier to follow than what I watched...

I've been around, under different guises, as "Billie Bumbler" and "DarkWarner" for the last year, from one April 1st to the next. Needed to shake stuff up for a bit, but I couldn't leave my old name behind. :D

opening/closing songs by ANGELA for a plus
More depressing than most of the cookie-cutter mech shows for a plus
Main character isn't whining about having to fight for a PLUS

I don't even mind the Shounen-Ai vibe through the series. Liked the show a lot, it grew on me I suppose. After one or two episodes didn't think it was that special.

He whines about almost everything else, though. :P

If you like Angst, you'll probably like it. I thought it was worth watching at least once, but didnt consider it a keeper.
