If you're posting you're not banned.

When you try to log on, you get a little pop up message, (like the ones for private messaging,) that says, YOU BANNED SUCKA! NOW GET THE HELL OUT MY HOUSE!!! Followed by pictures of every moderator on the forums mooning you.

Actually, I don't really know.

That's brilliant. I want to do that. Time to get out the digital camera...

Anyway, you'll still be able to browse the forums, as far as I know. You just won't be able to post in threads. If you try, you'll just get an error message. But, before you try any of that, you should (and will) get an email stating why you were banned. If you were banned because you were a previously banned member, however, we often do not send out these emails.

-BBSo wait, if you were banned and then were allowed back and then banned again, you wouldn't get an email stating why you were banned the second time?

If you were sent a banned email, but the ban was later revoked, we will email you to say that you were un-banned. Afterwards, if you end up being banned for different situations and it won't be lifted, we will email you again since it's a new set of issues relating to the banning.

A banned member coming back under a different name is grounds for immediate banning (again)--it's in the rules. We rarely allow a banned member to return; when they do, it's because they have changed something in their profile that we can't match with another. There's no reason to email the person if they know what they did when they were signing back up again.

Like I said, some MODs do. It varies--in the past, I've ran into the same situation and I have and haven't emailed the user. It depends on how long the member has slipped under the radar.

So you get banned temporally. Is there a specific time limit or it depends on what you did? sorry for all the questions

Most of the time when we do a temp. ban is an age limit problem. But we can ban you for any amount of time we want depending on what you did.
