Ok. I'll admit it. Even though I'm a huge Timm fan,I wasn't very excited about the new JL cartoon.I didn't think it would be as good as his previous endeavors.Well,IMO,it isn't ,but it's better than I thought it would be.
Except for one thing...Wonder Woman's voice! It's horrible! So I started to think who would be better.Than it hit me.Dana Delany! She's a wonderful voice actor. She'd bring a lot of feeling to the part. What do you think?Would she be good as the voice of the Amazonian princess? Or is she too ingrained in our minds as the voice of Lois?

I asked myself that question recently, and the answer is YES,YES,YES!Dana Delany would be a HUGE improvement over the current voice. :)

I had a hard time just getting used to her voice as Lois, just because she talked for Andrea Beamont in "Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm." To try and get used to her voice being Wonder Woman wouldn't be interesting to me...I like her voice...I think she has "amazon" written all over her voice. I wouldn't like "Lois" to talk for her...although Superman would probably be more attracted to her.

If Dana Delaney did Wonder Woman's voice that would just be asking for Batman to get involved with her (as he did with Dana's other two characters).

In my mind Dana Delany is first and formost Lois Lane.
I can't even watch Tombstone now without hearing her voice and starting to look around for that stubborn but sexy dark haired woman with the purple eyes. :D
I like Wonder Womans voice as is, and I think the actress is doing a great job.
I really dont see why everybody has made it their new life mission to slam the voice actors on JL. They have all done a great job of bringing these characters to life.

I wouldn't like Dana Delany to be Wonder Woman. She's got too much spunk, and not enough royalty to pull off the part of an Amazonian Princess.

If they bring back Lois Lane for any reason, you don't want her and Wonder Woman to have the same voice. But I guess it wouldn't be a problem if they RECAST LOIS. IT'S OK, WE DON'T MIND. MAYBE GEORGE NEWBERN KNOWS SOMEBODY.
Oh, by the way, I was being sarcastic.

If they can keep Dana Delaney as Lois Lane I say do it.

I'm not saying it wouldn't take some getting used to.Nor am I saying that S.Eisenburg won't get better. But I'm sure that if DD started out as the voice of WW,we would grow accustomed to her.And aside to MattL.,I don't think anyone is "slamming the voice actors".There are just some people who can tell she's not giving her 100%.

I don't want to get into the Dana Delany argument, since I like her as Lois Lane and would like her to be featured in the new series if any episodes focus on Supes, but if we're discussing voice changes, has anyone considered THE perfect choice for Wonder Woman-- Lynda Carter?! We who are into this genre probably grew up watching her in the live action series (as I did) ,and since Sci-Fi Channel brought back the show last spring, new viewers would be familiar with her voice. Anybody else think this is a good idea? And while we're on the subject of WW, whose idiot idea was it to rename her home? Themyscera? It sounds like somebody ordering makeup. What's wrong with Paradise Island, where she's lived for nearly 50 years?

I like the new name. It sounds Greek, as opposed to Paradise Island, which sounds like some place from a porno fantasy.

"Paradise Island" is the nickname for "Themyscera," it always has been...that's the way it is in the comics as well.

Reminds me of the Animaniacs opening bit that had Yakko ratcheting his eyebrows while saying "Dana DeLaney..." meow. :yakko:

I stand by my original argument. The new name does not sound Greek, it sounds like she's saying "the mascara;" the minute I heard her say it I burst out laughing and said "WHAT???" I've been reading Wonder Woman comic books since the 1970's (as I said, I grew up watching Lynda Carter in my pre-teens), and I don't recall Paradise Island being used as a nickname. It was called that in the little exposition boxes to explain that the Amazons were in an uncharted island off Bermuda. And for the guy who said it sounds like a porno movie, stop watching Fox and get your mind out of the gutter- That's Temptation Island! My belief has always been if it isn't broken, don't fix it.

I have heard Pardise Island be called Themyscera more than once...and long before I ever seen Justice League...

Okay,
Themyscira is the name of the island. It is also refered to as Paradise Island. It hs been thus since atleast the beginning of the post-Crisis era.
P.O.F: Themyscira was the name of the Amazon lands according to actual Greek mythology. So it's really not new.

Dana Delany, as others have said, will always be Lois Lane. To me, she had the perfect voice and attitude for Lois.
Now, if I could just get those wonderful scenes from "Exit to Eden" out of my head already!!!

I think it was mentioned that Wonder Woman's home was called Themyscira (Thanks for the correct spelling by the way, I had forgotten how it was spelled) in the Super Friends cartoon, so that would have been Pre-Crisis.
