S.P.D. Emergency?

Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta "Boom" WORLD PREMIERE
The B-Squad SPD Power Rangers have had a trip defending the Earth in the absence of the A-Squad. Teammates not getting along, a malfunctioning canine cannon, incompetent aides... but they've managed to save the day. Now aided by their Commander, seven Power Rangers defend New Tech City from Emperor Gruumm!

Today, on Power Rangers SPD!
Boom has aided the B-Squad Power Rangers as Ranger #0, the Orange Ranger. At least, that's what the parent Booms think. In all reality, Boom has been a slightly brain-dead, but good at heart sidekick to Kat. Can he keep up the Orange Ranger facade for long, or will the fact that he can't backflip into his Ranger form prove to be his downfall?

Wait, Boom's his last name?

S.P.D. Ranger Facts 101-
So, who will become the Omega Ranger? The Press Release stated an alien life form, but there are equal bets for Sam, Dru, and Boom to wear the Omega Morpher... Either way, will we see this mysterious Ranger catch laser blasts with his hands?

Random Ranger Video-

Go look in my sig. What if Power Rangers DinoThunder was just another season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers?

I just noticed something.

Who said that Boom ISN'T an alien? I mean, Andros, Zhane, Karone, Maya, Marah, and Capri are all aliens, yet still human. So couldn't Boom technically be an alien as well?

And while I enjoyed this episode a lot, the compositing just irked me. The final few minutes, most of Boom's nervousness, Boom falling out of the janitor's closet, all seemed like they were timed too fast.

This episode was pretty good. It was nice to get some focus on Boom, and finally proves that there's no way this guy will ever be a Ranger. The Orange Ranger dream sequence was nice. I also liked how there was a lot of original footage in this episode. It showed that someone doesn't have to be a Ranger to be important. The B-Plot was actually entertaining. Morgana is so hot. I think I'm gonna really like her. Definitely a step up from Mora. I still don't know why she wants to be turned back though. I liked the dimensional relocator thing.

It was funny watching Boom make a fool out of himself on the battlefield, and I laughed when Cruger was all like "Resignation accepted!" But it was cool how he showed his importance to S.P.D. even though he should never be given a Morpher.

Looks like its two weeks of waiting for "Recognition".

Well well well. Now I have no idea who the White/Break/Whatever Ranger will be. All I have to look forward to is Kat, and her overtly evasive fighting style.

The comedic timing in this episode was way off. Boom is a total goofball, but Bridge is still funnier.

Wait, Boom's his last name?
It seems like it's his first name too.

Decent episode, but a few things threw me off.

"A-Squad Orange Ranger": If he was part of A-Squad, wouldn't he look like an A-Squad Ranger than a B-Squad? The dream fight sequence seriously lacked weapon use (would it have been hard to give him, say, a Lunar Lance?), and the real one had too much of Boom floundering.
So, RIC is also a movie player AND motorcycle?
Interesting, they exactly recreated the satellite set from Dekaranger. Though, I believe in Dekaranger it was them being zapped directly into the laptop (hence the big screen) or something.
Despite the MOTD footage being mostly used up from Dekaranger, the line about "That's probably not the last we've seen of him", plus a unique origin (I think he's the only MOTD who's been recruited from Piggy's) and a simple design makes me think he might become one of Gruumm's generals or something.
Wow, Morgana's plot was quickly shoved to the side. I bet we don't really learn her origin 'till "SWAT" at the earliest.
That laptop looked old for MODERN times, let alone the future. The glaring crack on the top makes me think it was just a crappy laptop they found on ebay or something.
I'm surprised Boom's dream didn't consist of Shadow Ranger being defeated as well.
So... Boom's main job skill is plugging up A/V setups.
Hey, no Megazord battle.
Hey, a reference to the A-Squad.
Hey, Boom's suit at the end reminded me of Master Chief.

I understand Boom's ambition to be a Ranger, and I understand his desire to impress his parents, but I honestly felt they overdid the comic aspect of this episode. Boom needs more screen time, but he doesn't need to be a fool everytime he's on the screen.
