LotR cups from Burger King

has anybody gotten one of these? in commercials, it showed that if you hold it, the cup gets a red glow. how does it do that? and, is the cup glass or plastic?

I got the Arwen one. There's the glass goblet itself, and there's a small plastic base that you can attach to the bottom. There's a switch on the underside of the base that turns on a little light that lights up your drink.

I got it cuz it makes a nifty-lookin' drinking glass. :D

I got it cuz it makes a nifty-lookin' drinking glass. :D I got both cause I'm a fan, and I noticed that they do make a nifty looking drinking glass, indeed! Citra has had the best effect on it so far. I'm gonna give a few as Christmas presents!

By the time I decided to bother to get one of them, Gandalf was sold out. I might get the others though. I saw the Strider one at Burger King today.

Yeah the glasses are great. When I saw them in person at a Burger King I just had to have one cuz it looks so awesome. It's like a REAL traditional goblet from those kick but, Princess-Bride esque times. :P

My mom liked it so much that she got one too, as a matter of fact. I got the uuh...the blue one and the Liv Tyler (rar!) one. My rommate later got the Magneto one (green wizard one).

I'm plaining to get one at some point in time, just not right now (I'm lazy). But when I do, I'll be getting a Gandalf cup, seeing as he's my favorite character.

wait a second. when you say the blue one, what exactly are you describing? are there different colors of the cup lighting up? from i saw in the commercials, i only saw red. and why did you Magneto?
