Steve Gordon's site has been updated with 'How to Draw X-Men Evolution' (http://stevenegordon.com/index_steveg.html), a basic training course straight from the X-Men Evolution designer himself. It features Steve's tips on drawing Wolverine, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. If you've ever wanted to take a crack at drawing these guys, or if you're just interested in artist's notes like I am, make sure to check this out.
Thoughts?

Sweet!!:D
Can't wait until he gets the X-Women drawing tutorials up there, too.
I'm good at drawing Rogue now,but not really great.
(She's recognizable, but kind of looks cartoon-y,if I do say so myself.)
I wonder just how many of the evo character's he will be putting up tutorials for ?
(I can hope for Gambit and the New recruits, but something tells me that's a longshot.)Realistically,he will probably just put ones for the main characters and the more important guest stars, like Captain America.
Anyway,it's very generous of him to take the time out to do that.

Yeh, that was very kind of him, and very helpful too. I love Evo fanart and found this really good, but even if you don't but still enjoy drawing Steven E Gordon's techniques for keeping proportion etc are still very useful.

I'm very glad Steve's taken time out to do these. As I said, I'm always interested to read artists' notes on the way they draw characters; it's what I find particularly interesting in books like Batman Animated and The Art of Mike Mignola.
It's nice to see that there's space there for more characters. Those three cover some pretty distinctive body types in Evo, and I'd love to see 'how to's' on a guys with weird anatomies like Toad and Beast, or even Iceman with the weird squiggly ice lines on him.
I hope we see more of these!

I think this is a great littlke section for his website. I like to draw whenever I get time and guides like these are great. I'd like to see how the designs evolved to from day one to finished product. I'd like to see an extra on that on his site.

Fascinating(and informative) stuff, I'm glad he took the time to put it up on his site.
I hope he adds on the X-Girls and Brotherhood sometime! :)

Steve's added a 'How to' on Jean Grey, and a 'How to' on the Basics. The Basics tutorial is particularly neat, I'd love to see more of that type of thing myself... I love style guides...
Click Here (http://stevenegordon.com/how_to.html) to 'How to' yourself out...
Really digging these, I'm glad Steve added them! I like to draw whenever I get a chance, and since I'm... really bad at it, stuff like this always helps out.
And Steve, if you are reading, you have to have that image of yourself with pencils as Wolverine's claws as your avatar! :D

Nice update here: 'How to Draw's on Storm, Kitty & Kurt, and one on How to Draw Hands. Check it out here (http://stevenegordon.com/how_to.html). Thanks for the 'How to' on drawing hands in particular, Steve, much appreciated! :)

De nada....
...I was surprised how many were interested in seeing these things.
It took me awhile to find some of 'em, but Boyd located a couple of them that I didn't have.
I'm glad everyone's enjoying them.

Thanks for the tutorial on hands,Mr.Gordon.I just suck so much at drawing Evo hands-male or female.:ack:
Since looking at your tutorials I've gotten a little better with the female hands, though.:D
Oh,and the Kitty tutorial worked out good for drawing one of my made up
characters,since they look similar.

Not quite a 'How to' guide, but Character Designs for Pietro (http://www.stevenegordon.com/character_design.html) have been added to the X-Men Evolution section, and Steve's added an entry to his News and Updates (http://stevenegordon.com/news.html) page, mentioning that there will be more in the way of 'How to' pages in the future. Sounds good to me!

How to's on Rogue and Spike (http://stevenegordon.com/how_to.html) have been added. Make sure to give Steve's blog a look for some non-Marvel but still very cool sketches...
