Well, sometimes I have trouble specifically with Toonzone. I have a highspeed connection, but there are still times it takes forever to load.

If you're talking about the internet as a whole, I would check to see if you've got spyware on your computer. That would suck big time, because it sends peronsal info about you to mysterious people and it slows down your system performance. In my experience, they can't be eleminated with Window's simple uninstall utility. You have to get a special program to remove them. And in worst case scenarios, you may be looking at a full-scale re-formating to clean your system up, meaning you'd lose all your data, would have to reinstall windows, and basically start from scratch.

Not an appealing prospect, but that's what I had to do to rid my system of spyware a couple of years ago.

Could be a number of things. How do other programs run on your computer? Is everything slow, or is it just IE?

It could be lack of memory, or a full drive. My Dad's main computer used to take five minutes (no fooling) to load a browser, just because his hard drive was too full.

Or as Style said, it could simply (or not so simply) be spyware. My computer had lots of spyware, and it was giving me all kinds of trouble I just got some spyware removal programs (and am currently running Microsoft AntiSpyware which rocks) and switched to Firefox. It seems to be better lately, but who knows..

Its just Internet Explorer that is real slow. This first started like 2 days ago. The rest of the computer, to my knowledge at least, works fine. And also after starting up, it makes this weird noise like its under pressure.

I use Spy Sweeper to clean out spyware and Also Norton Anti Virus...did the scan just yesterday infact...

Weird noises should be checked out by people who know what they're talking about concerning the hardware. Otherwise, get every spyware sweaper you can can run them with multiple settings. Spyware can hide litteraly everywhere. It took me over a week to clean up my computer, and I still can't use normal AIM. I use GAIM instead now.

Adaware (http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5)

Spybot (http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-1)

Download update and then run the above. I usually have the most luck with those. You may need to run them 2 or 3 times. Also concerning those noises make sure your hard drive isn't full.

Try this (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) too.
