Robin in Batman Beyond

Batman beyond should have a partner it should be robin and here is My idea For a new robin This Girl name is Amanda Dixon she is 11 Years old she was Born in Texas she move to gotham at age 7 she the only child she live with a mom and dad Amanda dixon has blond hair her height is 5'4 she weights 105 pounds her hobbies are running track Kickboxing Knows how to fight really well here how she Be came robin Her Mom was working For the Jokers the mom name is Nicole Dixon. nicole can"t not find a job so she works for the jokers. Nicole becomes the Joker so she rob banks. Amanda does "t Know that Her mom is working for the Jokers. Amanda Trying to find out what her mom does so she goes in her mom room at night finds out that a her mom is a joker costume and knows that she works for the jokers. the joker leader yell at nicole Because some one steal credits from the joker leader. so amanda peek at the joker hideout and then amanda falls down the steps and the jokers look at her and the mom says in her head amanda the joker says well well look what we have here a little girl amanda says yeah you dumbo so joker got mad Amanda kick the joker and hit the him and she kick a another leader and the third joker point a gun at her then Batman Kick the third one beat the fouth joker and the five joker and the leader joker had a blast gun shoot Batman and the leader kidnap nicole Amanda says mom so Amanda drives the Batmobile And put Batman in it where do you want me to go says Amanda Batman says The Batcave where is that? amanda says
So they in the Batcave then Bruce comes in the batcave says what happen to him? The joker leader shot him so Bruce give Him some bandages to heal terry then bruce says who are you Hi my name is a amanda Dixon so Batman name is terry batman says terry minginness and this is bruce wayne Batman says she save my life and she can fight . bruce says oh really? yes i can fight and she sees The robin costume and says wow the robin costume says Amanda. amanda says I need your help The joker leader kidnap My mom She works for a gang called the jokers.
will you help me says amanda Batman says okay I now how to Fight says Amanda and she kicks the table and hit the table. Batman and bruce was shock Then amanda says I can help you Batman Bruce says no your are not going with him so Batman leaves drive the Batmobile and joker leader says where is my money dixon I don"t know says nicole so the second joker says I hear a noise so Batman come out and it over joker leader saids I got you the first time batman this time I am going to get you a the second time batman beat 2 jokers then joker leader got amanda mom meanwhile at the batcave amanda says i Have to go save my mom Bruce No says bruce please bruce no no no says Bruce terry is going to save your mom so but what if he in trouble? says Amanda so in the joker second hideout get back batman says the joker leader or I kill the lady let her go says batman then the joker shoot batman in the arm and nicole step on his foot and says ouch says the joker leader and then robin breaks the glass window and beat the crap out joker and and the joker fell out robin says are you okay? Nicoles says yes call the police then she says to Batman are you okay? batman says amanda dixon? as robin your right you are a fighter yes I am you save me two times. In the Batcave bruce says Amanda should wear the robin costume terry says yes Partner? says Terry
Partner says Amanda so The Robin costume Look like a Green Mask No cape red suit Left side says A Black R Red pants and red High heels. What do you guys Think Of the New Robin? ;)

I always thought it's be uber-cool if Terry's brother Matt donned Tim Drake's old duds and saved him somehow...

I say no to Matt, he should never become Robin. First, he's just too young. And second, he needs training which I could never see Bruce or Terry agreeing to do.

Before someone brings up Max, she has a role already. Lets keep her as Oracle Beyond. And of course Dana. Like Matt she lacks training and I just can't see Bruce or Terry agreeing to train her.

Besides Terry doesn't need a sidekick, he's got Bruce (or Bruce has him, depending on how you look at it ;)).

Yeah, it is a good idea to be careful with punctuation and grammar anyway, but in a long post it is absolutely essential. People just won't read a long post that is a grammatical shambles.

You can sort of tell that by the responses here: They're talking about Robin in general, not about the Robin you propose.

The only sidekick I'd be willing to accept is the kids/grandkids of either Dick Grayson or Tim Drake. Sort of keep it in the family.

Its a rather intresting thought.

To a certain degree a Robin in Batman Beyond would be redundant because Terry himself is idelogically a Robin.

But this time, he has to fill the big boots because Bruce can't anymore. In a way, Terry is what happens when you fuse Batman and Robin into one character.

However, I'm with the Guard on the idea that seeing Matt McGinnis don the Tim Drake costume would be fun.

and if he were ever to become Robin, I'd do it as something that happened in the very last Batman Beyond story ever told. Something that happens after Bruces death.

Heh, I can even see older Tim Drake and Dick Grayson helping to design the Robin Beyond outfit and taking care of the training aspect.

Basically, Matt McGinnis becoming Robin would be a wonderful into the sunset type of thing.

Terry already has a Robin, in a way: Max. She's basically his sidekick. I'm glad they never put her in a costume because we don't need another costumed crimefighter out there. We have one person already trying to prove himself as a hero, a show with two just wouldn't work.

Oooo, don't go there..! That's a topic in itself (and one I'd love to disagree with but this is not the place! - and that goes for your sneaky quip too Bird_boy!! :D )

I think while Bruce required Robin as the light to his dark, I don't think Terry has that sort of character to make a Robin a neccessity. In fact, he himself is a bit of a mixture of the two. The best parts of the two, one may argue.... :)
