View Full Version : Pokemon: Which Starter Pokemon do you think Ash would've chosen?

Been watching early episodes on tape, which is why I'm doing this poll.

If Ash did wake up on time, which Pokemon do you think he would chose as his starter?

I'd go with Charmander, since he used him more than Bulbasaur and Squirtle.

Uhh...Actually thinking all three starters were still there, he picked Bulbasuar.

He picked Squirtle first in Episode 1, then Bulbasaur, and then Charmander. Which is highly ironic, considering that his usuage of the three are the opposite.

Still, Blastoise is my favorite Pokémon ever, so I pick Squirtle.

The Zenigame family of Zenigame, Kameil, and Kamex are my favorite, so I'll concur with Duke on this one.

In terms of power- Charmander

In terms of strategy- Bulbasaur

In terms of endurance- Squirrtle

That's really how they played out in Poke'Mon, so if Ash knew what he does now about Poke'Mon he probably would have gone with Charmander, but since he was just a beginner and wanted some way to win his going with Squirtle (who probably has the most endurance due to his ability to hide in his shell) was a smart move. it's just a shame all 3 were taken, but I love the fact that Pikachu actually gets to use his Thunderbolt.

I think he would of argued forever over one. I think he would've chosen Charmander because he loves his Charizard in the show right now.

Honestly, I think Ash would have never decided to pick one of the three because he would have been thinking for so damn long that the professor would have just gone outside and catch a pidgey or ratata and handed him that.

I still think Ash would've picked Squirtle. Why? Because that is the one he chose back in Episode 1. :P

That's because they hired somebody to do that kind of research. Because the guys who work on the scripts forget about an episode after about a week after working on it.

It's times like this I wish BF kept the Trainers Choice.

It would have been nice to see what kind of questions PUSA would come up with, shame that its gone.
