What are your favorite quotes? Here are some of mine:

"Imagine a system in which anyone could wind up seving on the Supreme Court. Anyone. Think about your own family. Friends. The guys you knew in college who would eat dog feces for ten dollars. Now picture one of them as your randomly chosen Cheif Justice, and you'll apreciate jsut how f'd-up this system was." ~ Jon Stewert, from America: The Book

"For those of you just tuning in, today we are going to teach poodles how to fly." ~ Raul Hernadez, from UHF

"Vengence will be mine, blowhole!" ~ Pete Wrigley (Little Pete), Adventures of Pete and Pete

"I'm not a rangeboy. I'm a rangebear." ~ Pete Wrigley (Big Pete), Adventures of Pete and Pete

Haven't there been a few threads like this already?

Anyway, here are some of mine.

Cyndy: "Ha ha, Neutron, I see London, I see France--!"
Carl: "You have really good eyesight."

Chris Rock: "You know the world is different when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the US of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'!"

Norbert: "When this is over, I'm selling you to science."

GMahler: "Pamela Anderson will replace Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman."
stly92: "Why am I strangely turned on by that?"

zmanjz: "They say that a thousand monkeys in a room for a thousand years could write the words of Shakespeare. My advice to you? Buy more Monkeys."

"We think we understand those around us. The people we have come to know reveal patterns of behavior, and as our expectations of that behavior are fulfilled time and again we begin to believe that we know the person's heart and soul.

I consider that to be an arrogannt perception, for one cannot truly understand the heart of another, one cannot truly appreciat the perceptions another might hold toward similar or recounted experiences. We all search for tuth, particularly within our own sphere of existance, the home we have carved and those friends with whom we choose to share it. But truth, I fear, is not always evident where individuals, so complex and changing, are concerned."

-Drizzt Do'Urden (R A Salvador's "The Spine of the World")

"There's no point in being grown-up if you can't be childish, sometimes." - The Doctor (Tom Baker), Doctor Who

"A lot can happen in a year. The horse could die, the king could die, I could die. And who knows? Maybe the horse will learn to sing." - old folktale.

"Nothing done out of love can ever do us harm." - Zanna, Zanna, Don't!

"Most of us get so scared, so civilized that we teach ourselves how to be ashamed and embarrassed, and we invent a disguise for ourselves, and we walk around looking serious and acting very somber and self-important. And we call it grown-up...Harpo Marx had the good sense and the great gift never to Grow Up." - Allan Sherman, A Gift of Laughter

"Now, as I was about to say in 1907...." - Harpo Marx in his farewell performance, 1964

Ron Burgundy (http://imdb.com/name/nm0002071/): It did, didn't it?
Brick Tamland (http://imdb.com/name/nm0136797/): Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart!
Ron Burgundy (http://imdb.com/name/nm0002071/): I saw that! Brick killed a guy! Did you throw a trident?

Ron Burgundy (http://imdb.com/name/nm0002071/): Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

Brick Tamland, what would we do without you! Seriously, Brick needs his own show!:p
