Aquaman or Aquaman...

Which looking Aquaman do you prefer? I prefer the one from Superman The Animated Series. Who do you prefer?

Depends whatcha mean. If you're talking toons, I gotta go with the long hair look. It never made sense for Aquaman to be wearing the orange uniform (which is an Atlantean prison uniform) as a king.

I'd have to agree there....the "new" (more comic-bookish) Aquaman look on JL is much cooler than the STAS one. The STAS one just looked a bit...incomplete...

This Aquaman just seems to look more respectable to me. Plus it goes with the newer personality. I vote for the long-haired version.

long hair, shirtless, aqua-green pants, gold belt and wrist bands, rune looking cord amulet, NO STUPID METAL PEICE across his chest. and the aqua-green cape.

and if the hook never shows up that wouldn't bother me at all.

I thought combination of old look and new personality was very intriguing. It's ashame that episode had to be so awful

The new look, the new voice, and I think that the hook looks cool.

His JL look and voice are very cool. His look and sound, IMO, give him the "feel" of a king, and a powerful one at that.
The S:TAS look wasn't done poorly (it was better than I thought it would be), but it just didn't command the respect that his JL does.

I like both versions but the JL Aquaman has a better chance of whooping Namor when the JLA clashes with the Avengers next year :D

The Aquaman on S:TAS made me think of him as a pretty boy kind of guy. >_< yeah, he was young, but..........maybe too young-looking. lacked character, too, IMO. i dunno, the JL Aquaman gave him much more authority. :) definately JL Aquaman. ^_^ he's so much cooler!

I perfer the newer "JL" version over the "S:TAS" look, but the "S:TAS" is still pretty good.

I'm gonna have to vote for the new version. I think he looks a lot more intimidating, which is good for a king.
