KIDS' WB! ADDS WEEKDAYS TO ITS STANDOUT NOVEMBER SWEEP, FOLLOWING 7TH STRAIGHT SATURDAY MORNING VICTORY, WITH #1 BROADCAST FINISH MONDAY-FRIDAY

KIDS' WB! STILL SIZZLING AFTER DOMINANT NOVEMBER SWEEP, PLACING #1 AMONG ALL SATURDAY MORNING COMPETITION IN BOYS 6-11 AND SCORING AS #1 BROADCAST NETWORK IN KIDS 2-11, KIDS 6-11, BOYS 2-11, GIRLS 2-11 AND GIRLS 6-11

"Pokémon: Johto League Champions" Leads As #1 Saturday Morning Program In Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 And Boys 6-11


BURBANK, CA (December 6, 2001) -- Following its 7th straight Saturday morning sweep victory, Kids' WB! adds a #1 broadcast win for weekdays to its standout November sweep showing. The network finished the highly competitive ratings period as the #1 weekday broadcast network in Kids 2-11 (1.6/9), Kids 6-11 (1.8/11), Boys 2-11 (2.0/11), Boys 6-11 (2.4/14), Girls 2-11 (1.2/7) and Girls 6-11 (1.2/8). With the imminent demise of its broadcast competition, Kids' WB! outperformed Disney Channel in Kids 2-11 (1.0/6), Kids 6-11 (1.2/8), Boys 2-11 (0.8/5) and Boys 6-11 (1.0/7) during the November sweep.

For November sweep, Jackie Chan Adventures (M-F 4:30 p.m.) tied as the #1 program in Boys 6-11 (3.6/17) with the two airings of Nickelodeon's "Hey Arnold" (3.6/21) and (3.6/20). The series finished among the top 10 broadcast and cable programs for the week in Kids 2-11 (2.1/10), Kids 6-11 (2.5/13) and Boys 2-11 (2.9/14). Pokémon: The Johto Journeys (M-F 4:00 p.m.) ranked as the #1 broadcast program for the sweep in Girls 2-11 (1.5/8), and tied for #1 with Jackie Chan Adventures in Kids 2-11 (2.1/11) and Kids 6-11 (2.5/14). The special November airing of X-Men: Evolution (M-F 3:30p.m.) captured the #3 broadcast program spot in Kids 2-11 (1.5/9), Kids 6-11 (1.6/11), Boys 2-11 (1.8/11) and Boys 6-11 (2.1/14).

On Saturday, December 1, Kids' WB! continued to dominate all Saturday morning competition and finished as the #1 network for the morning in Boys 6-11 (5.8/22), achieving 29% ratings and share increases over the parallel week last year. The network topped the broadcast competition to rank #1 in Kids 2-11 (3.3/14), Kids 6-11 (4.3/18), Boys 2-11 (4.5/17), Girls 2-11 (2.2/10) and Girls 6-11 (2.7/12). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! outperformed Fox Kids (2.6/11), ABC (1.6/7) and CBS (1.3/6). In Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11, the network beat out ABC and CBS combined.

For the morning, the hit animé series Pokémon: Johto League Champions, at 10:00 a.m. ET, led the broadcast and cable competition to rank as the #1 program in Kids 6-11 (6.1/21), Boys 6-11 (7.9/25) and Boys 2-11 (6.2/19), tying Nickelodeon's "Hey Arnold" (6.2/24). The Ash and Pikachu adventure ranked as the #1 broadcast program among Kids 2-11 (4.8/17) and Girls 6-11 (4.3/16). In its 8:00 a.m. ET time period, Pokémon: Johto League Champions beat all competition in Boys 6-11 (4.0/26), and finished #1 among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 6-11 (2.6/18) and Boys 2-11 (2.7/19).

Additional Kids' WB! Saturday morning highlights include:

<li> Scoring its highest numbers season-to-date, The Nightmare Room, in its 11:00 a.m. ET time period, captured the #1 spot among its broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.7/14), Kids 6-11 (5.0/19) and Boys 6-11 (6.2/22). The live-action series also scared-up a #1 win among its time period broadcast competition in Boys 2-11 (4.8/17), Girls 2-11 (2.7/11)
and Girls 6-11 (3.6/15).

<li> Finishing among the top 10 overall programs for the morning in all demos, X-Men: Evolution, at 10:30 a.m. ET, ranked as the #1 program in its time period among Boys 6-11 (5.5/18), tying Fox Kids' "Digimon: Digital Monsters" (5.5/19). The teenage mutant series topped its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (4.2/15), Kids 6-11 (4.8/18), Boys 2-11
(4.9/16), Girls 2-11 (3.5/14) and Girls 6-11 (4.2/16).

<li> Jackie Chan Adventures, at 9:00 a.m. ET, took the #3 program spot in Boys 6-11 (6.4/23). The high-adventure series beat its time period competition in Boys 2-11 (5.0/18), and ranked #1 among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.8/15), Kids 6-11 (4.7/18), Girls 2-11 (2.5/12) and Girls 6-11 (2.9/13).

<li> In its 8:30 a.m. ET time period, Cubix led all competition, including cable, to rank #1 in Boys 6-11 (5.5/25), and among its time period broadcast competition, finished #1 in Kids 2-11 (2.7/14), Kids 6-11 (3.5/17) and Boys 2-11 (4.1/19).

<li> The Mummy, at 9:30 a.m. ET, won among its time period competition in Boys 6-11 (5.5/19) and among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 6-11 (3.9/14).

<li> At 11:30 a.m. ET, Yu-Gi-Oh! dueled its way to a #1 win among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.8/12), Kids 6-11 (3.8/15), Boys 2-11 (4.0/16) and Boys 6-11 (5.4/20).
