Yes I have SGT.Frog volume 8, while the story is good and all there is one thing that i think sorely detracts from the volume......the one thing is the ensigna on the spine of the book. Each volume from 1-7 had a different ensign of one of the Keronians. However Vol.8 instead repeats the ensign from volume 1 instead of having a new one.

I thought that finally prehaps they would have to use the humans on the book spines....I thought wrong

I don't really care... as long as it's entertaining. I dunno how they'd use humans though. They probably could have come up with more symbols though.

How is this a rip off? If it was a book with nothing but empty pages then I might see your point.

Because the spine is the most viewed part....

I mean now they're going to repeat all the signs probably...

I'd actually be suprised if they re-used all of them. Since the heart and kareha just belong to minor characters that showed up in those volumes, it'd seem odd to keep them in rotation.

And, wow, 8's out already? Seems like I just picked up 7 not too long ago.

Anyhow, scanning through the books, the only two that they haven't used are:
1. A red cross belonging to a random doctor frog in volume 2.

2. Garuru's Cow Skull (From volume 8).

So unless you REALLY want those...

Huh. Good call. ...I guess that means they might reuse those, as odd as it would be.
