I just found an incredible site called the Internet Archive Wayback machine. It allows you to see what various websites looked like at different points in time.

Try typing in the address to Jon's original LT & MM page and see what you get! It was:

I looked at a 1997 shot of Jon's page, and a MIDI of (Raymond Scott's) "Powerhouse" played.
Nice, Jon! Did you program that one yourself, or pilfer it? :D
For the rest of you, this will play it directly:

Believe it or not, whether it's still out there or if it's just a ghost, here's the ORIGINAL Termite Terrace Trading Post! Unfortunatley, it does not retain its old posts. The Merrie Messages board from my site back in early 2000 showed post titles and names, but there were no posts around anymore because the company went out of business. Anyway, the TTTP:

This is a very cool website. It's interesting to see Jon's first LT&MM page. You can also get a peak at Misce-Looney-Ous, but the RealVideos don't work. I was also able to see original versions of my page, Thad's page, and Rob's (of Tvisland) page.

No, I didn't make it, but you'll be glad to know I did get the permission from the Raymond Scott Web Archive to use it.
Believe it or not, there was an even earlier version of my LT & MM Page which isn't archived there. Before my "frames" version (even *I* had almost forgot about that version of my page).

This is great looking at how your site was years ago. It's nice to see how the Censored Cartoons page looked back in 1998. It looked really different back then.
Thanks for the link. I'm gonna try this with other sites.

Interestingly, I was able to time-travel back to one of the older versions of Brian's Early Toons page and download Ride Him, Bosko!

I think that's because it's still on the server. I never bothered to delete it.
