Pretty good episodes this week. Don't know how I'd rate them on a scale, but I did enjoy Dodgers' and Johnson's verbal quips in Best of Captains, Worst of Captains. That's Lifeomatica I thought was a bit better since I loved the cute parody off of Space Odyssey 2001 with Lifomatica as the computer HAL.
Just one thing bugged me about this episode (actually this is something that had been nagging me from last week too). The Queen's personality seems to have shifted, and looks to keep going in that direction. Before when she had her crush on Dodgers, she was fooled into believing his past exploits were a result of talent, but she was still able to tell when Dodgers was making an idiot out of himself. Now, after she learned the truth from I.Q., she seems to have become a victim of self delusion, bordering on paranoia, where she thinks Dodgers can do no wrong and every action is some part of some ingenious plan. This attitude might have done her better in the first or early second season, but it seems bizarre at this point when she should know better.

I liked both cartoons a lot. The first one I thought was very funny. I liked how Cadet was the one who actually got the date. ****.

The second one was even better. The bubble wrap scene was hilarious and I loved the HAL computer playing Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows (I love that song). And yes, MartianGirl the Queen HAS become quite deluded about Dodgers but I think that makes sense, because she cut off a potentially great relationship with X2 for him and she NEEDS to convince herself it was worth it. X2 actually treated her well and loved her so she's got to be going crazy that she threw all that away for Dodgers. She NEEDS him to be a worthwhile opponant.

And is it just me or have the facial expressions on this show really improved in the last season and a half? A lot of the faces remind me of early Ren and Stimpy and that is a high compliment. ****1/2.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Anyways, I liked this episode in the second part in particular was funny. I liked the splotchy tanning machine. I give it a B.

I saw the clip for this episode on www.DuckDodgers.com (http://www.duckdodgers.com/) because it hasn't aired in Canada yet... But I can't wait to see it!

I liked this ep. the 2nd part was the better of the 2. It DID remind me of HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey.:D Oh, and that female captain in the first part made me drool!:anime:

I give this ep 4 stars.:)

This weeks episode really did well. The Martian Queen I've always liked for some reason. It's probably because she's quite cute.
Overall, the show this week was a 3 1/2 out of 4.

I sortof expected the Cadet to get the last laugh in the first episode. Haven't the foggiest why it irritates me, but it does. Decent at best.

Second one was funnier, although it eerily reminded me of that Dexter episode with the robot that was almost the same design.

the expressions Cadet is given is adorable :anime: i know i'm cheesy for saying so but its true.

i love any episode of a show that does a HAL parody...i never get over that!
