i read the last thread about debating who could play a really good joker for this movie...i thought about it for a minute and came up with somebody. my all time favorite villian next to the joker-micheal wincott a.k.a top dollar in the first 'crow' movie with brandon lee..if anyone remembers his really cool, brilliantly sick, evil performance in that...i know it's been a little while since that movie, but i think he probably still has it in him to play such a role-even as a pre-joker jack napier possibly..his late co-star lee wouldv'e been my second choice...i think wincott would also make a really good two-face/harvey dent, if they choose to change up the story again... any thoughts? thanx.

How about Jason Lee, from Mallrats and Dogma and others? Again, if they are going for a Year One Joker and want a younger actor, I think he would do a great job.

I don't care what anyone else says about needing young actors or anything. Because the Joker in Batman with Michael Keaton was really up there. So even if you got MARK HAMILL, he'd still probably be younger than Jack Nicholson.

MARK HAMILL for the live action Joker!!

If Mark Hamill did it, I'd just think of him as The Trickster and Cock Knocker. I'm not sure if Hamill's Joker lends itself well to live action...

I just don't think Mark Hamill has the screen presence to be the Joker. Being the right cartoon voice and the right voice actor are two different things, most of the time.

Hamill would be a terrible live action Joker. Why? A. Mainstream audiences assosiate him too closley with Luke Skywalker, end of story. B. Have you seen him recently? The guy may not be that old, but he LOOKS like he's in his sixties. I mean he's wrinkly and he as NO HAIR. Trust me, he would look ridiculous.

mark hamil is to old to play the joker. because mark hamil is 50 years old if they did a batman year one in 1989 yes he would play the joker. because in 1989 mark was 37 years old I know who should play the joker in batman year one. I have three people that can play it ONE ray lotia TWO chris kataan three jason briggs. but if they did a animated batman year one I would pick mark hamil to voice of the joker.

I still think he has the facial structure to be the Joker, and make-up does do wonders, you know.

say, what if there was an actor who could mimmick the animated Joker's voice, but have the ability to be a good movie actor? wouldn't they have to pay lots of money for mark hamill anyway?

I dunno, he likes the character, and he did Kevin Smith's last movie so he might not be demanding too much money nowadays...specially since his last big film was..198somethings Return of the Jedi.
