Readers can sample one of WildStorm's most exciting new titles for FREE with the </B>EX MACHINA SPECIAL EDITION #1</B> (PROM60067), scheduled to arrive in stores on May 4!
This special edition reprints the Eisner Award-nominated debut issue of EX MACHINA, written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Tony Harris & Tom Feister. It features a sensational brand-new sketch cover by Harris.
Pretty cool, if you ask me. Though most comic shops won't get a whole lot of copies (so you'd better drop by early if you want one), it's still a very neat promotional offer. Ex Machina is one of the best comics on stands today, and the first issue is a truly smashing stand-alone story. If you're not reading this comic, you should really give this first issue a shot when it comes out in two weeks. It's accessible, self-contained, and absolutely one of the single best, if not the best, comic books published last year.
