Like if "birds of a feather flock together," then why do "opposites attract?"

It's also funny how people in movies act like if they can come up with a nifty comparison then it will come true. Like "As the black bear devours the honey, so will your sweetness be destroyed by our iron will." Lousy example I know, but you see what I'm saying, right? Just because you compare yourself to a bear and me to the honey doesn't mean that's gonna hold true in real life.

Well, "practice makes perfect" but "nobody's perfect."

*Holy crap, this was my 1000th post! Yeah optimal!!!*

--"Look before you leap", yet "He who hesitates is lost."

"Eat drink and be merry", yet "All things in moderation".

"Those who have welcomed strangers have oft entertained angels unawares", yet "Be mindful of the company one keeps".

"Revenge is a dish best served cold", yet " 'Vengeance is mine', saith the Lord." I know that contradicts itself somehow, somewhere....

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."
