Bad news for any Gundam fans. Because of the changes made by CN's new boss, the fate of Mobile Suit Gundam is uncertain. Thanks to the new head switching everything around , MSG and the other Gundam series might not air:( . What is up with the Turner channels recently? Why are they putting people in charge who think that animation is just for kids? Grrrrrr...

NO!!!!

They can't do this. What is wrong with these people, Toonami recorded really good ratings last year, in part thanks to GundamW. For their own sakes they better not mess this up.

The channel is run by people who ar eloking for the best oppurtunities to get ratings and money, hence the crossover Toonami block coming this fall.

When we first talked about this, I think we all decided to take a "wait and see" attitude. At least some of us did.

Well, we've waited, and what we're seeing doesn't sound good. Even if they keep the good shows they have, I bet they won't be acquiring any good new ones. I've really been happy about the direction CN has been slowly turning towards, but I'm afraid that's over now.

Where did you find out about this? The last thing that I knew CN had paid quite a bit to Bandai for the rights to air MSG and "8's" (0080, 0083, & MS8th). So I willing to bet that these Gundam shows will be airing on one of the Turner channels. Besides do you really think that they'd put them on kidsWB? These shows, with the exception of MS8th, are old (not that thats a bad thing) and the look alone will probably drive away the kidsWB audience. They should still air on CN's Toonami where there's already an established Gundam fanbase.

And if worse comes to worse you can always go out and buy the stuff on DVD or *shudder* VHS. ;)

I wonder how many people are going to respond without looking at the date?

Why do newbies bring threads back up?
