Next Saturday, we'll probably be saying goodbye to the guy who's been the main villian of the show for 3 seasons. Now, maybe this type of story would work better as the series finale. Should the show continue without Shredder? Should the series have ended after next episode? Tell me what do you feel?

I think they should end the series respectfully and on a high note with the end of Shredder. If not, well we replace Shredder with mutant pigs trying to take over the world. But that would be digging the show itself into a grave.

Oh get over it, Shredder was barly a factor in the original comics in the first place, in fact, he's been dead for two decades.
In Season Two, he made no less than seven apperances, less than he did in Season One, whilst characters like The Ultimate Ninja, Draco, etc, were built up as great reccurring threats this season, this season, we've seen new villains such as Bishop being developed to carry the series over with a degree of familairtiy, we're also getting Rat King next season, so no, I doubt we're going the route the C.B.S years of the original series went
Suggesting the series ends when there is no need to just because The Shredder is leaving is one of the most ridiculous reasons I've ever heard.

I think Bishop and the remaining Foot can be enough of a threat. I want to see a Raph as Shredder storyline adapted. If Raph took over the Foot clan, the TMNT would have the sheer numbers needed to be in a position to take down Bishop and the EPF.

There are plenty of Turtle tales left to tell that don't involve the Shredder.
I'm waiting for the epic Baxter Stockman story from the comics, where he injects April with nanobots to get "revenge" for her helping destroy his Mouser plan all those years ago.
And heck, I can't wait to see Rat King and maybe a few other old TMNT villains returning.
Plus Bishop will be a nice villain for Season 4, his backstory appears to be just as interesting as the Shredders.
Yes, the series should definetely continue. As season 3 has shown, Saki is a much better catalyst than character: his usefulness lies in how he makes other characters act. Now that we've established a consistent and workable Foot/Turtles dynamic, it's time to shake it up, and removing The Shredder and/or Splinter from play is the way to do it. We've seen what these guys do when under their fathers' legacies; now lets see what happens when they're free from it.
Besides, like Zero-V said, there are other fish in the toilet of love--the Shredder isn't the only worthwhile villain they had. Bishop, Baxter, Hun, Touch and Go...there's plenty of adversaries left to fight.
Now, I won't argue that Exodus would be a good series finale--most of the loose ends are tied up, and seeing the Shredder--the guy who set it all in motion-- die, would be a semi-satisfying way to end things, thematically speaking. However, there's still too much to do. We need to see the fate of the Foot and their alliance with the turtles--for real this time. We need to see August's O'Neil's fate, and how The New Triceraton Republic is doing. We need to see the sons become the fathers, and see the new guard rising. No, we can't end the series right now; it has far too much potential for that.

Peter Laird made it his business to confirm on the Ninja Turtles website he has no intention of adapting that storyline, it came from the third volume of the TMNT comic, which Laird did not endorse, and whilst he gives that series an occasional prop (hence the "Raph As Shredder" reference in Darkness Within) he will not adapt any storyline that he considers non-canon.

Although he did sort of break that promise by borrowing from the movie and the Archie series already. Heck, now that 4Kids can say "God", I'm waiting for Mikey to shout, "God, I love being a Turrrrrtle!"

Well, he was involved a lot with the movie, respects the original series, and he likes the Archie comics a great deal,he was even going to bring back Kirby to cross those characters over, but the idea was never pursued.
It is a shame we'll never see more of the Raph as Shredder arc, as that was the highlight of the Image comics' flawed run.

Considering Karai is essentially a clone of Piminko from the Image series, and her relationship/rivalry with Leo mirrors the Raph/Piminko dynamic, why not continue to borrow from Image?
